That's blasphemous Sean.

Was I? Lets look into this.

Blasphemous derived from the root word blaspheme meaning to speak of (God or a sacred entity) in an irreverent, impious manner.

Okay, lets break this down even further, just in case there is some unfortunate soul out there that doesn't know what irreverent or impious means.

irreverent - Critical of what is generally accepted or respected; satirical: irreverent humor.

Yes, that was irreverent, because I'm one to be openly critical about what other believe and respect, this isn't the first time that I've done this. For example, I treat this pathetic country in the same manner, which many here respect and I do not.

I don't believe in god, and therefor don't believe I should have to "respect" this mythical being since he doesn't exsist.

and Impious meaning lacking due respect or dutifulness. Why should I go out of my way to respect something that obviously doesn't exsist? Simply for anothers benefit? No, I think if people take me so seriously, than they must be insecure with their beliefes. And please tell me, since I don't believe in this supreme being, what I should be dutiful to? The god? The person who believe in the god? I'm not going to go out of my way to be dutiful to either person, since I have no sense of obligation to either.

So, yes... You are correct, I was very blasphemous. Thank you for noticing.

Or were you talking about me being poked with a fork by Invictus? Because I'm not entirely sure how that's blasphemous.

Either way, I don't see why you're pointing it out. : / Perhaps you would like to tell us why?

This is very good trolling, if I do say so myself. Anyway, after that I'll shut up. >.>

Your argument went from countering, half rotation, and finished by agreeing with her.

Shame, I almost rattled-out a succinct rebuttal of your first few lines in support of our Captain.

Hi, my name's Mary and I'm... I'm an alcoholic.

No. I'm seventeen, female, and I live in England. I was hoping I'd be rejected after I typed the most asinine application for this guild, but what can you do? ;D

*Ahem*

Quote:
Blasphemy: The act of claiming for oneself the attributes and rights of God.

Whether or not you believe in god is irrelevant to the conversation. I happen to, though that is not the point. I was merely poking fun at your comment.

Yes yes I know...allow me to respond for you. I'm a "weirdo Canadian" yes?

No. ;p

Where did you get that definition? razz Because it's a bit more than just that, if you really want to go into it, I can write a long essay about all that entails blaspheming. I have nothing else to do with my time at the moment.

I was once, a devout christian unflinching in my beliefes. I'm so glad I'm done with that phase.
