Appearance: Negar has long, VIVID crimson hair with a slight wave to it. She normally keeps it up in a high que with a black ribbon. When her hair is down, it reaches the tops of her thighs. Negar has lightly tanned skin, warm, black eyes, and a slender, lightly muscled figure. She has various scars on her hands received from fights. For the most part, Negar keeps her slightly pointed ears hidden, but they do tend to poke out from her hair every now and then. Negar dresses for practicality. When she can get away with it, Negar dresses in well-made, durable black breaches, a loose ivory shirt, a leather jerkin, and leather boots. When she can’t, Negar can be seen wearing a gown of any warm hue.

Personality: Negar has a very intense presence and expects respect wherever she goes. She doesn’t want people to worship the ground she walks on like most nobles, but she does expect people to listen to her and acknowledge her rank. Negar is regularly in trouble with most authority as she is stubborn and, as far as she’s concerned, IS the authority, so she’ll pretty much do anything she damn well pleases. However, she is responsible for her actions. Negar loves to help people, but because of her strong personality, often scares or intimidates the people she’s trying to help. She’s warm and open to the people she cares for and is only reserved around elves and those she truly distrusts.

Bio: Negar is the child of Baron Galen of Brighthaven and Lady Silvanwyn of Melthinae, an elven noble. Her parents met during negotiations between the elves and the humans of Daidre. Against the wishes of many, the two married and had Negar. Silvanwyn lives with her husband on his lands in the mountains near lake Vuran. Negar has lived both in fief Brighthaven and in the elven city of Melthinae. She prefers to spend her time in Brighthaven, but Negar does love Melthinae, if not the elves. She wasn’t shunned outright as she was nobility, but the elves really didn’t open up all that much to her. Both of her parents strongly influenced Negar as she grew up. From the cradle, Negar grew up learning not only to be a force to be reckoned with in the courts, but also on the battlefield. She’s skilled with her weapon of choice, an elven glaive, but is nowhere near as proficient with it as her mother, who is a master. Negar also received the gift of healing magic from her father. While she can’t heal serious wounds like Galen, Negar can mend small injuries and stabilize someone in critical condition. Knowing they and the household had nothing left to teach her, the Baron and Baroness are sending Negar to the House of Bricks School of Weaponry in Guren. And while not thrilled about going there, Negar hopes to master her glaive and healing magic while at the school.

House Brighthaven: Brighthaven is one of the oldest houses in Konalter. It’s known for the its legendary healers, epic warriors, and some of the best diplomats in Konalter. The nobles of Brighthaven are either admired or disdained by the other nobles for their open-mindedness and fair way of working with anyone, regardless of class, race, or nationality. While some nobles aren’t happy with House Brighthaven, they respect that it’s one of the oldest houses and the service Brighthaven renders to the Realm. Negar inherited the healing magic, crimson hair, and open-minded attitude that are characteristic of House Brighthaven. Negar has the potential to become a master healer, but is currently a novice. The House Crest is a gold dragon rampant on a field of dark blue with white mountains.

She’s uneasy around commoners not because she looks down on them, but because Negar just doesn’t know how to relate to them.

Negar loves her family and Konalter. ANYONE who insults them is asking for a fight, whether it be verbal or marshal.

Negar is attractive and, as such, has had many a young lag trying to swoon her over the years. Not that she noticed it much. She is incredibly dense when it comes to feelings of romance and the only successful way to hit on her is be very upfront and blunt. Otherwise, Negar will not get it.

Negar is reserved around most full-blooded elves. She doesn’t dislike them but she’s not very open with them either.
