Just finished seeing my fiancee at basic. She had two days of base liberty. It was really really nice to see her and we made our engagement public. It was so exciting... I'm so SO proud of her...
I reworked my Gaia profile with a picture of us so if you would like to take a look I'd appreciate some feedback on it. ^_^ I think I may explode with pride...
Oh and there aren't enough support things out there for us guys... heh... Know any good places to get stuff like that?

Heh... it was very unnerving to be holding her hand under the table and look up to see a MTI coming right towards us. Luckily he walked right by us to go get on someone else...

I didn't even know that you could get visitors at basic.. and what are these rules you speak of?

Under weird circumstances you can get visitors... Due to a lot of weird mistakes by her MTI's and such, her flight is having their BMT extended by a few weeks. So they were given base liberty.
As for rules... they have to follow certain rules as to their conduct while in uniform. Such things as no long kisses or hugs... no holding hands...those types of things.

my boyfriend finally called me since, someone just returned his phone two days ago. his phone was "lost" for over two weeks. i'm just grateful i was able to hear his voice again.

I wish it would have been her graduation but oh well... she's still got some work to do and she's working so hard...

Well the problem before wasn't that she didn't know. It was that her MTI's (Except for the second one of four) didn't care about their PT. They didn't help them or keep them working. They'd make them do a little and send them off. She told them over and over that she needed help with PT and they kept telling her to get back with them and then she hit week four and they said forget it.
She called earlier. Her flight keeps demanding to see her engagement ring. ^_^ We're kind of worried about what her family thinks but oh well. They have no say on it.
I'm so proud of her...

or like I'm doing, I took my husbands vehicle and now I'm having it custom made into a magnet, the stuff in my siggie.
