Am I the only one who wasn't satisfied with the finale? I hope not.

Am I the only one who thinks he's not dead, and that his death being seriously canon would leave a big a** plot hole and a couple of loose ends in the story?

I certainly hope not.

I don't believe he is dead either; I believe he was the man driving the cart with C.C.

Lelouch is unlikely to be dead, think about it:

- C.C. has two wishes - to be loved and to die. She can have both by transferring her code to Lelouch.
- Note the fact that C.C. is back at the church where she became immortal and talking about Lelouch paying for his sins. He's not paying for them by dying, he's paying for them by becoming immortal. (And she knows all too well that that can be a very harsh payment to make)
- When Nunally touched him, she got a flash of images much like C.C. can perform.
- Listen to what C.C. says at the end, and look at the fact that she's happy and says it's not so lonely. (also note that she subtly looks up towards the cart driver when she says "Lelouch")
- Cart driver's face is completely obscured, coincidence?

Of course you could go other ways and say "That wasn't Lelouch, it was Sayoko!" or "Lelouch got the emperor's code and now him and C.C. are living forever happily together!" etc but I don't feel those match up as well.

I think the way they ended it was very clever because it left it open for people to believe what they wanted. I still believe, however, that the weight of circumstantial evidence points towards him living. Though either way...in a sense he dies, because him as everyone knew him is dead.

Agreed. It's pretty much been proven in the anime that anyone that conceals their face (through masks or other things) has something to hide, and that cart driver's got something BIG. xd

[The best way to vanish without a trace, is to have witnesses.]

Lol, all of the people that are against Lelouch being alive are for some reason making it seem like he was going to flaunt his immortality in Britannia's face, which is horribly out of character. (And then it turns out that the best they can do is disprove the points that hint at his immortality, which isn't the same as proving he is mortal. Either that or continue stating that the guy got stabbed and everyone saw it.)

Nun was smart, so that little flash of images could have just been their way of saying she realized what he wanted to do.

If anything, that cart driver seems like he would be that reads minds guy >.> He looks about the same, and he could have survived everything.

That could explain why there was no one else there, because he liked it that way.

Then again, wasn't C.C. and the Geass church from something like an alternate reality? Thats why Charlie was going to destroy "Both worlds"?

The ending pissed me off. I really liked tyrant Lelouch...hahaha...I laughed so much when Nunnaly fell out of her wheelchair..... and the Black Knights are pathetic and ungrateful...Lelouch saved them so many times and they tried to kill him? Perhaps they forgot about when they were about to be killed by a knightmare firing squad?

It is possible for Lelouch to still be alive, but I think he was killed( crying crying crying crying crying ). He wanted to die and I thought the user of the "CODE"(a.k.a. C.C.) has to be killed by the Geass user to transfer the immortality. I wish it wasn't true, after all Lelouch could be alive.

P.S. I really, really hope that there is a specail episode about Lleouch survivng with C.C. at some type of farmhouse safe in the country and they're both immortal so they'll never be alone.

It's never been stated, so it's possible to give up the Code without dying immediately after. [And Charles never had to kill V.V. to transfer his immortality.]
