This is me taking a moment to formally introduce myself to the guild here.
My name is Kyle, but you may refer to me in any manner you see fit (hopefully pertinent razz ).
I am the sort of person who is in constant learning and theorizing of spiritual and philosophical ideas/ideals. Within my realm of practice, I tend to be more generalized in the realm of meditation, and believe many great things can be achieved through great amounts of focus.
I am particularly indulged in the ideas of "mythology" but would rather refer to it as "theology". My particular interests lay in Shinto and Norse theology. I am quite knowledgeable about both of these particular areas, but have much to learn and would be interested in any conversation concerning almost any spiritual area.
I am also one who very frequently encounters the affects of "sleep paralysis" if some of you are familiar with this term? I greatly understand what it presents and open myself to anyone who may go through the same affects.
On a more personable note, I am a musician and an artist. I think Jim Henson was probably one of the greatest men to ever live. I'm freaking awesome at horrible puns. I think midgets are born of pure flesh-eating troll-born evil. Oh, and overall, I'm a pretty out there kind of guy.
At any rate though, I do plan on taking a bit of time to explore this guild and look forward conversation and questions held in it's future. I may even engage in a meditative assignment at some point.
For now though, I thank you all for your time and wish you and excellent evening.

Hello hello! Nice to meet you. Welcome to the guild! I'll be looking forward to some interesting theology topics with you (for such conversations have always interested me, but I find that people with no belief or a very set belief don't seem to like talking about such subjects, and so I don't get much conversing done). I'd love to hear more about the Norse and Shinto beliefs. I've done some minor research into the Norse, yet still feel that I know nothing. And I literally know nothing about the Shinto, other than a faint idea that it is a Japanese belief...I thought I heard that somewhere, but I may be wrong. And I'm not even going to mention the midgets. Hope you like it here!

Hello!
Nice to meet you as well, and thank you. smile
I'll be looking forward to it as well. I love engaging in and learning from such conversation, yet I also suffer from the "lack thereof syndrome".
Anytime you have any questions or curiosities about such, feel free to ask. Oh, and Shinto is a Japanese belief system, so you heard correctly v`v. Most any of the Japanese spirit/demon/god figures you may know could be very well derived from a Shinto link. I think I might post some random excerpts of descriptions, or tales just to help spread any knowledge I can.
Awesome deal, because they are quiiiite creepy.
I'm sure I will, and thank you again. v`v

Hello Kyle, I hope your still maintaining your sword training. Using a sword to focus your meditation state is something I have been trying for a while with some success. I am also studying Shinto beliefs along with Chinese magic and mythology. I have a very extensive study in Chinese philosophy. I want to learn more about Shinto, if you have any good sources through me a line.
