The_Claudia Ah lucky you have waterfalls withing walking distance confused Ya i walk in forests and stuff but i dont get the same feeling Nah, the one waterfall isn't within walking distance, though it's only 'bout 10 minutes in the car. So I guess it IS walking distance, but it's down a highway and.. No. Too far to walk. xD But it's drying up! D: The lack of rain is killing it, but we had a huge rainfall for the past few days, so.. it's alive again.

(okays, fine, there IS nature...But very little.) But waterfalls? Nope. The way i get in touch with nature (if i have that much time) is probably to take a walk around the resevoir...There's a path with trees and monkeys and all. xd Aw.

I tend to train (martial arts, I mean) in the forest. I find that's the easiest way to connect, and even easier if I have some kind of staff, or weapon of some sort, to help me with.

Cute, but you'd freak too if you suddenly saw a monkey lying in the middle of the path. (Asleep or something, with another monkey nearby.) I don't know if there're still monkeys at the resevoir...but lol.

I usually go for walks in the forest especially in the rain. But my favorite is when I climb up into the willow tree that hangs over the pond past the watergate. It's extremely secluded and relaxing. ::sigh:: Somewhere I can finally feel at peace. ~Asha

It all depends on the weather. But I like going to this placed called boiling springs. Lots of waterfalls and bubbling springs.

Before I moved, I used to go and relax in the bamboo patch behind my best friend's house [Which was only a 5-min bike ride away.] We used to go there together with her little brother and sister and have bamboo swordfights. Ahh, it was fun. But now I'm surrounded by city, and I hate it.

Well I'm fortunate enough to have a large forest near my home and sometimes i go walking there to get back to nature. Sometimes I'll find a clearing and just sit there. I haven't actually tried meditating cuz I don't know how to enter a trance, but I still feel connected just being there.

I do have a forest near my house, but just a bit too far for me to walk. I only go there when I get a lift there. It has a lot of places to climb and explore, I act like such a little kid sometimes. There is a walking track with tall trees and greenery and stuff on either side so I like walking there.
