I gotta suggestion, V-Dawg. ;0
Instead of having concrete rules for each of the Assignment threads (you must have a title, what you're offering and provide rules, etc), why not leave what will be actually in each thread to the discretion of the person who starts the thread: then, provide each of the (former) rules as suggestions, as well as provide new ones? That way, each member's threads can be a little more individualised, it helps people come up with more information to provide in their opening post, and it gets rid of the (somewhat arbitrary seeming) minimum-of-three rules rule.
For example: You must have a title, you must say what you teach, you must provide at least 3 rules, and your lessons must be in the second post of the thread are the rules we have just now for the Assignment thread. Why not provide each of them as suggestions, as well as have other suggestions (what you'll be teaching soon, provide your own experiences and findings with your practices, and so on).
Just a thought.

That is do-able. Is the rating system good to stay, or should there be changes made?

Viscerim That is do-able. Is the rating system good to stay, or should there be changes made? The Rating System's pretty good, it's a keeper. The only thing I'd suggest is a guideline stating that people should give an assignment a numerical rating, then write about a sentence or so detailing why the assignment is rated what it is.

Good call with the explanation, especially for assignements with a rating of uncertainty.
