This is where the Rodriguez family legacy was made. Each generation there has been one in the police department this includes Lieutenant DeAngelo Rodriguez the son of Jonathan.

Sergeant Alvarez stormed into the police department angry as she could be. The hardened criminals that plagued the beautiful city cowered at her arrival. the most feared woman in Miami's underground was apart of the police force that kept it in check. She slammed her hands on the dispatcher's desk and began to grill him, "What the hell were you thinking not rerouting that call for back-up!?" she yelled, "I almost lost three men on that bust, they are all in intensive care for severe gunshot wounds. we barely made it out of there alive. Before you say a damned thing I want you to hear this. The next time i call for back up on a gut feeling you better damn well send me how ever many men i need." then she turned and headed for her office. She sat down and noticed she still had a picture of cooper on it. "don't look at me like that he shoulda listened." she said essentially talking to her self as she put the picture face down on the desk.

Alvarez noticed something strange in the photo she had of Cameron Cooper. She grabbed the frame and took a magnifying glass to it. "That man, where have i seen him before?" she thought as she took out abunch of old photos of them together. He was in each and every photo. The same shaggy haired caucasian man. Then she saw one with the strangest effect in it. The man had a hand out and the book he appeared to be reading seemed to be...hovering. "I need to know who this man is. There has to be a reason why he's in all of these photos." she thought as she put down the magnifying glass and headed for the cold case storage to check some other files.

Angelo stopped her "Miss Alvarez I just got a complaint about you and I quote 'losing control' so you mind tell me what is going on in your head?" He was looking at her with an amused look this was obviously normal everyday conversation between the two. He usually just dismissed the complaints she had a pretty bad temper that she occasionally lost control of. He had his hands in his pocket as he waited for her answer.

Isabella looked at him, she hated involving him in her endeavors. "come with me captain" she said obviously forgetting she almost castrated the dispatcher. She was focused on this new mystery.

Angelo still looked quite amused as he followed her. He wasn't really worried about the incident he imagined she had a good reason for losing it.

She showed him the photos. She covered them all with glass and circle each occurance of the man in red. That's when she noticed more than on occurance of him using telekinesis, though at the time she didn't realize it was that. "Don't you find it odd that he is in every single photo? Captain, these seven here there is some object floating near him. Don't tell me that its the shutter because the shutter speed on my camera couldn't still a slo-mo punch. I want to investigate this." she said before remembering she wasn't all that powerful yet and had to ask permission to take a case.

Angelo looked at each photo after she was finished he pointed to Cameron. "You do realize your Ex was just on the News don't you and doesn't really look good." He was sympathetic to her he knew deep down she still cared for the man even she refused to show it he was always good at noticing such things. He flipped on a TV close to them as the news repeated the earlier broadcast.

Just as his disturbed face appeared on the screen the broadcast suddenly stopped and the rainbow bars appeared. "That's strange He wasn't in uniform." she said as she saw him for a brief moment. If there was anything she was good at it was noticing small details in fractions of seconds. But she usually brushed them off as useles information.
"I know i hate to seem obsessed with him and by the way i'm sorry about dinner. I spazzed you know considering you're my superior, an almost fatal drug bust, my Ex showing up out of nowhere, and having issues finding a dress. It's just too much. Besides i don't know what could happen if the precint finds out. You know they gossip like old women." She said possiblymisconstruding the dinner thing.

Angelo shrugged "let them gossip it's not like we are dating or something and I told you not to worry about finding a dress. It's no big deal anyway I resolved what I wanted to discuss with you it was just a rather serious complaint I didn't want to bring up in front of people. It turned out to be a lie though so no big so how long has it been since you seen him? Also what do you mean almost fatal drug bust?" He didn't even consider the possibility that the dinner he had proposed could have been mistaken for a date. He hadn't really even considered the possibility of going on a date since his college sweet hert who turned out to be a crazy person. She had been arrested when she tried to kill him after they broke up.

Isabella blushed and said, "Oh right, um, It was a year or so ago. and the bust yeah that's what i was pissed about. It's nothing really." she said then she realized she was blushing and turned around promptly. "Dammit you are a sergeant in the Miami dade police department get a hold of yourself do you want to be any more obvious!?" she thought to herself as she took a deep breath.

Angelo was never good with women when he seen her blushing he didn't really think anything of it. "Ok permission granted to do your investigation keep me updated though." He stood there waiting for her to get ahold of herself and turn back around.

And actually how about a raincheck on dinner, i'd like to try talking to you outside of a professional setting. Unprofessionally." She said trying not to clench her teeth in embarrassment. "If you don't want to that's fine i understand." she said.

Angelo shrugged "thats fine I could use another friend anyway most of my friends have moved away." He smiled he did need a new friend one that didn't run away from him for little reasons.
