Alrighty, so here's the deal. ><
I really like this guy who goes to my school. Now usually I'd take the chance and get to know him, become friends and maybe ask him out or something. But the reason I have been kind of kept to myself around him, is because a really close friend of mine (Let's call her.. 'K') likes him to.
I'm not saying she called him or something, but I have to acknowledge the fact that she has liked him for a while now. I've only just started to like him, and I don't want to jump at my chance and ruin our friendship.
The thing is, is that I know that he doesn't like her, because he's said so... And a lot of my other friends are starting to say things like 'he likes you..' And I don't want 'K' to think that I'm betraying her or something!
Also, I don't want to tell a lot of people.. Because honestly he's not the greatest looking guy on the planet. >< But he's so sweet... And I can't seem to figure out any reason NOT to like him.
I guess what I want advice on, is how to tell 'K' that I like the same guy that she does... Without ruining our friendship. Especially because it will be over a guy! >< Help?
Update:
Alright... So recently, my friend has just gotten herself a boyfriend. She obviously still likes him, despite the fact that she says she doesn't. It's obvious because she acts all mental around him, and ALWAYS gets upset when he doesn't talk to her or something. =
But lately, he's been speaking to me a lot. And like, in class, he sits closer to me, and actually ackowledges my existence a LOT more. He's acting like I'm important...
I don't know if he might like me, or if I'm just one of his friends.
But I told 'K' and she was... oo-kay with it I suppose. But I'm sure she's mad.. Because even as she said 'I don't care' I heard the bitterness in her voice.

hmm . i think tht u should talk about it over
lunch && explain it to her slowly . have a slow talk with her
&& explain to her about ur feelings && how u value ur friendship
with her && everything but DO NOT tell her tht u knw
the guy doesnt like her because she would asume tht ur saying
tht to mke her not like him && tht u wnt the guy all to urself .
yeah . so just wait fr her to knw herself or smeone else bcause
tht would just kill ur friendship girl . well , anyways , gdluck -.-

I agree talk to her about it. but be warned she might get angry at you, and that will be very selfish of her because if he likes you and you like him it's really none of her business. things like this happen.

and yess she will probably be mad @ 1st
but she will get over it
and if she doesnt then tats just stupid
cuz i mean yeah
so tlk 2 her
but make sure
u let her knw tat u rnt doing this 2 hurt her and
u respect her feelings
and dont let her knw tat he doesnt like her
and yeah.
