While we're making some changes here, why not change the home page? It's kinda blah, and not very appealing to new members who just want to skim through it. Add a picture, maybe. I'll re-read what you have and post anything that could be changed (up to you and others if you want to keep what I have)

Oh, that reminds me - the guild shouldn't be hidden. Very few people join a hidden guild. The general consensus is "well, if I don't know what the conversation is like, why would I bother?" Private works a lot better in my experience.
I've been invited to a few guilds that I've refused to join simply because I can't take a look at them first.

Good ideas, both very good.
I will try and pretty-up the guild home.
Also, that is very true about the hidden thing. What I'm concerned with is, is everyone okay with people being able to browse through? If yes, I will certainly change the type of guild.

I don't mind if people who were interested wanted to browse the guild and see what we have to offer. It might get more people to join.
