The dining hall is a fair sized room with many large windows facing both towards the onsen pools and to the flower gardens. Three tables like the one above are arranged in the room and a folding screen sections off a large portion of the room. Behind the screen is where Pamela prepares the days meals...
The kitchen is where Pamela prepares food and she requests that guests do not intrude there unless they are invited to do so.

In the quiet, screened-off kitchen, Pamela was preparing lunch for herself. She carefully spread rice over a sheet of sushi seaweed, then layered cucumber, carrot slices, and crab meat in a strip along the bottom. She was just preparing to wrap the sushi role around itself when... What was that Pamela quickly rubbed the sticky rice from her hands and swept into the dining area. Pausing to listen, she discerned that the voice was coming from outside. Slowly prying the sliding doors open, Pamela peered out to the onsen pools. It was a normal, misty day and visibility was low.

The fawn's curiousity won her over. Slowly she began to crawl closer to the sweet smelling building, in teh distance she saw the human, the woman, who had put this place in her forest. A kind, almost pretty face. The fawn thought to herself. Her strong dislike for humans had a slight exception for the girl...none the less she stood up on her two long extraordinarily thin legs. Walking gracefully towards Pamela

Pamela peered around the paper-and-wood sliding door. The mist shrouded everything and made it difficult to discern much, but her sight snagged on a pair of dark, onyx eyes staring at her, seemingly startled. The rest of the animal was concealed, either by foliage or the opaque air. Slowly, so as to not frighten the creature, Pamela withdrew back to the kitchen.
As quickly as possible, she poured some cream into a porcelain bowl and snatched the incense holder from a nearby shelf, a few wisps or aromatic smoke escaping from it. Slowing as she came back to the door, Pamela cautiously placed both the cream-dish and incense burner on the nearest slate step. Lowing her eyes respectfully- you never knew who those eyes belonged to- and clasping her hands modestly, Pamela stepped back inside. Keeping her face downturned, she slid the doors closed, making as little noise as possible. She went back to her sushi roll.

Vanya wandered the thick, lush underbrush outside and caught the scent of something she knew not what to name it. It was far away but her keen senses picked it up easily. Slowly she meandered nearer and nearer to the scent. She stopped at the sight of two women facing each other. Well, she thought 'women' was the right word. She was bad at naming things in the foreign language. Vanya sank low under the green leaves and peered at the two curious women from under it, about 100 yards away. In her Kitsune form she was compact and small, and very easily hidden from sights of unwanted attentions.

The fawn watched the woman place the bowl and the smoking stick down on the step. She raised her eyebrows when she closed the door. There was another creature present, the fawn could feel her through the trees and the air of the forest, though the creature ramained hidden, so she though nothing of it and let it be. The fawn walked over to the door and stared down at the bowl for while... It was filled with cream. And the stick of insence stank. The fawn crinkled her nose but touched neither of the items. Stepping over it she went to the door, for from ther she could see the woman, Pamela. She worked with fish and other sort of things. Perhaphs now would be the right time to speak to her..it was going to happen sooner or later. Gently she tapped on the door and waited for the woman to react...

Every muscle in Pamela tensed at the slight tapping sound. She would have heard a potential guest approaching. Slowly, keeping an eye on the door, she wiped the sushi rice off the small, delicate knife she had been using to slice the sushi roll. Pamela slid towards the door. Holding her hand with the knife close to herself, the blade was concealed in the folds of her dress. Taking a deep breath, Pamela slid the door open.

After a few moments the door slowly slid open. She was pretty, even for a human, on long gold braid that fell down her back and two large blue eyes. "Good Afternoon Pamela Starr," The fawn spoke as if they had known each other years. " I hope you dont mind my delated welcome to my forest. It's just that my curiousity has won me over...quite interested by this busy bathhouse of yours..." She look over the girls shoulder into the large but comfortable looking building. "The smoking stick stinks by the way..." she added and smiled ruthlessly a glint of madness sparkling in her ink-black eyes...

Pamela's eyes went wide. She had seen glimpses of this creature in the forest, but seeing her up close was slightly overwhelming. She blinked once and shook her head the slightest bit to clear it. She made herself compose her features to disguises her shock. Deciding that the creature probably meant her no harm- or that she wouldn't be dissuaded by her small kitchen knife- Pamela moved her hand out of the folds of her dress. "Please excuse this," She murmured, a bit sheepishly. "I didn't know who..." She trailed off. Pamela turned and placed the knife on a nearby dining table.
Turning back to face her exotic visitor, Pamela bowed politely. "Thank you for your warm welcome. Please, come in." She bent again, picking up the incense. Pamela pinched out the small, glowing end and waved her hand delicately over it to dispel the scent.

The black Kitsune reared her head high as The Fawn approached the human. She still had no idea as to whom anyone was but the Fawn had 'welcomed' her to 'her forest.' She moved silently around and tucked herself behind a different tree to get a better view of the interaction.

The fawn smiled at the girls kindness. "How polite," she commented, and took a small step inside. "For your own concern there a forest creature in the near by...perhaphs leave the bowl out for her...?" She said this quietly leaning a little in to the girl. Then took a few more steps into the room. "What a beautiful place."...

"Oh, certainly." Ophelia placed the bowl back on the step. "I was just preparing some sushi. Would you like some; could I make you something else?"

The scent drifted into her nostrils deliciously. Vanya was still yet less concerned with the bowl of... human-ish food. She snorted slightly. The two women disappeared from view and then she was alone. All alone. She smiled a bit. It was better for her this way. Healthier. No one to worry about, and no one to worry about her. Vanya like it this way. It seemed right. She curled into a small ball still facing this odd looking structure, still very alert, but most comfortable in the soft rubble, cool under her fur.

"Sushi?" The fawn inquired. "Cinnamon, acually, would be quite nice,Perhaps a cup of some sort of herb tea?...What is it you do here? All on your own..." It was unlike the fawn to be nosey, but she could not help herself as she stared curiously at Pamela with her deep black eyes...

"Cinnamon?" The fawn's request seemed a bit strange. "I may have a jar of cinnamon sticks hidden away somewhere..." Pamela stepped back into her kitchen, beckoning for her guest to follow. "Mostly, I drift around doing very little." She smiled a little sadly. "When the resort is empty I busy myself by cleaning the buildings and maintaining the gardens and grounds. Sometimes I dance. I paint a little, too... I'm sorry, I'm rambling." Blushing slightly, Pamela added, "How do you fill your time; what is living in forest like?"
