.: razz review::. Back then if I had tried to say to you, ‘hello’ you might have made some sort of face commenting on how cute I was, or possibly how hideous, and gone on with your day. If I said hello now, you might respond with some sort of greeting or gesture in turn. Now there’s a reason for the obvious differences, back then yes I was practically a child, in human years but not the years by which my old body lived, but that’s not the reason for the reaction.
You see, if I had tried to say ‘hello’ back then, all you would have heard would be a ‘mew’ or a ‘meow.’ For I wasn’t always human, at one point in time seemingly a life-time ago, which it might as well be, I was a small little black cat, existing for one reason only, which will be mentioned later.
Some people believe that animals don’t have souls, or for that matter a consciousness. I can’t really blame them since we can’t speak as humans can, we lack the vocals to do so it’s hardly our fault, but it doesn’t mean we can’t understand them. Usually we do our best to avoid petty human conflicts unless of course you’re a horse with nothing better to do or you’re a dog blindly following your ‘master.’
As a cat people will just look at me and think something along the lines of ‘look at that lazy cat,’ or ‘silly p***y-cat’ due to stereotypical cats that show up on their funny moving picture boxes or in their papers and books. We have personalities but due to the nocturnal nature of some of my cousins we enjoy sleeping during the day and ‘catnapping.’ We tend to have a very relaxed nature, just as humans have a very up tight nature, usually, even when we hunt we’re, in most cases, laid back not to concerned if our prey should catch sight of us and flee, there’s always more after all, and most of the time if we desired we could chase them down. It’s what we’re taught I suppose, or rather something in our brains that just makes us that way, just as a human walks on two legs we’re naturally relaxed, again in most cases.
Creed my ‘master’, as a human would call him, picked me up as a kitten two years previous in a little pet store somewhere in Europe. He had been the oddest human I had ever seen, and sensed for that matter, and remains so even after I’d met the equally odd parts of his group ‘The Apostles of the Stars.’ He had simply caught sight of me peering curiously out the window of the little shop and had said to his male companion, who adorns his top hat and trench coat no matter where he is, “Look at that, if Train were to be an animal that would be him.”
I didn’t know who this Train was back then, by now I’ve heard enough about him to know the following: He was an infamous, and still deadly, former assassin for an organization called Chronos, which apparently rules one third of the world’s economy. He’s now a sweeper, and Creed idolizes him, and he is not, as the name suggests, a train. I didn’t know any of that at the time though, I continued to blink and stare at them, finding their aura’s fascinatingly different than any other humans I’d encountered walking near or in the little pet store.
