Girygnia Introduction
Please do not post in here, but please do if you have suggestions or want to help or other stuff, PM me or chat in "random chat" under members escape forum Thanks for your cooperation.
Here I would like you to read each time you enter this RP, to be sure that you don't make anything messy.
You were born into a huge world called Girygnia. If you know the Earth's size, then Girygnia would be 24,530 times larger. Even though a lot of the planet is yet unexplored closed for adventures, or private persons, you can see what I mean by huge right? Go find out mysteries about this forsaken place or take on the heat in the arena gladiator battles. You could also settle with a peaceful (BOOOORING) life while doing a lot of work. Games to be held, battles to be fought, wars to end and begin! Join in this big amazing world! (When it's done, until then I'm searching for help to make this big awesome thingy go right!)
Rules: I'm going to make "days" so that you only can do a certain amount of stuff each day. Because, I experienced often when I tried homemade role-plays in my school, that either it ended up being "I'm just gonna do that... and that... and that and that and that!" So I thought putting a limit on it would be for the best.
No controlling what happens to others! Furthermore, don't be unfair! I'm gonna check up on you! This counts much more when you're fighting.
No deciding what others feel or so on. This and the thing above is in short called "god modding" and that is not allowed.
That's the rules for now. Of course, the ordinary rules like no swearing and so on counts in here as well just to be sure no numbheads are going to do something "funny."
Story Reference and Mapping:
(this story is seen from a NPC's view) the planet's creation is a large mystery that no one ever knows... why? i remember my first encounter here... on this planet... this dimension... i remember falling... falling... falling... and a burning pain on my forehead. opening my eyes i was sourunded by nothing but forest's. though soon... i should encounter what kind of world this is... how cruel it can be... and how delightfull it could be. suddenly a large sound came to my ear, through my body, to my head. the sound of an earthquake. a large one-eyed thing came into sight and the first thing i did was to run... and run and run... when i was far enough away i saw a little baby. crying in the forest's all alone. i picked it up and decided to take care of it until i found the mother unless i never did. but when i woke up next morning the child was already looking like she was 3 years older... i thought it was just me but it kept happening... the next day she had learned to speak... i was definitly getting scared... what could it be with this child? what is it? i decided to ask herself. she answered that she didnt know". i decided to keep her with me. the day arrived very soon when she looked like a 17 year old girl. she was very beautifull so decided to fin her a man. i told her that i was going to find a man for her but she then looked at me... took my arm... and said that she allready got one. shocked as i were because i felt like a father... though we got seperated the night after... by a storm of ogres... i was taken prisoner and tortured for days... nights, months... years... because they thought of it as fun... finally they let me free but i never saw her again... i found a vilage and settled in and here i am telling this story to you... this world can be the most cruel and the most delightfull... be carefull!
map seems to be delayed...
Opinions over PM or polls are appreciated as much as a helping hand is, but no posting in this thread. Poll question reason can be read in the story above.

It is here where peeps like me do the job. You will see what I mean when looking down.
Battle System: I have a beta battle system and stats system. I will show it here: Attack= The higher damage you can give (att) Defense= The higher damage you can block. (def) Dodge= The higher chance of avoiding (dgd) Speed= The higher chance of hitting (spd) Manastrength= The higher damage with mana (mpstr) Manadefense= The higher damage with mana you can block (mpdef) Manapoints= The higher amount of mana (mp) Hitpoints= The higher amount of health (hp) Dexterity= The higher amount of flexibility (stunts alike things) (dex) Spirit= The higher amount of concentration (spt) Morale= The higher amount of will to fight (mrl) Energy= How long before you're out of breath (eng)
1 strength/str= 2 attack 1/3 defense 1 agility/agi= 2 speed 1/2 dodge 1/4 dexterity 1 intelligence/int= 2 mpstr 1/2 manadefense 1 endurance/end= 10 hitpoints 5 manapoints 2 energy (1 endurance requires 3 level points instead of 1) Things to gain outside normal leveling only: Spirit and morale is trained separately. Morale can be affected by everyday happenings. Everything CAN be trained separately if you want certain things to go faster. The signs like 1/2 means that you will only get one point in it every second time.
Dice Rolls: The attack and defense rolls 2 dices on the size of 10. here are the formals. Attackers rolls: Left roll: 1-2= 25 % of attack 3-4= half of attack 5-6= normal attack 7-8= one and a half times attack (150%) 9-10= double attack Right Roll: 1 miss 2-3 half speed 4-5 normal speed 6-7 125% speed 8-9 150% speed 10 hit
Defenders Roll: Left Roll: 1-2 0 defense 3-4 50 % of defense 5-6 100 % of defense 7-8 200 % of defense 9-10 400 % of defense Right Roll: 1 10 % dodge 2-3 20 % dodge 4-5 50 % dodge 6-7 100 % dodge 8-9 300 % dodge 10 600 % dodge
If it is a spell, then only one dice from the attacker and defender is needed. (Spell does not miss!) Attackers Roll: 1 0 % spell 2 10 % spell - 26 spell 3 10 % spell - 13 spell 4 20 % spell - 6 spell 5 50 % spell - 6 spell 6 50 % spell - 3 spell 7 100 % spell - 6 spell 8 100 % spell - 3 spell 9 100 % spell 10 200% spell + 6 and extra effect (some spells only) Defenders Roll: 1 0 spell defense 2 5 % spell defense 3 7,5 % spell defense 4 10 % spell defense 5 20 % spell defense 6 35 % spell defense 7 50 % spell defense 8 100 % spell defense 9 300 % spell defense 10 600 % spell defense
Dexterity gives bonus to speed and dodge spirit to spell and spell defense and morale gives a little to everything.
The % are how many percentages of the basis stat. If you got 100 attack and you hit 1 with the first dice, then your attack is not going well and you're down on 25 attack.
Some things are better trained alone like energy. If you only took endurance to get energy, then it'll take way too long time to get it!
Morale is used in attack like rage but can be used as supstitute for energy Spirit is for substitute. If you lack of one spell point (manapoint), then you can use a spirit point instead though spirit increases the energy restore if not used, the same thing with energy. Dexterity is used in climbing mountains and stunt-alike attack and maneuvers its rare that attack temporarily uses the dexterity but it does usually say require atleast this level of dexterity.

The People and Creatures
Elements are not chosen by birth as a normal thing. Actually its quite rare, and not always that effective. However, the elements clearly tell us what we can do and what we can't do as if part of our body. Academies in different elements all over the world are set to train you in the elemental spells or combat auras and so on. The most known ones in this world are: Light (like in laser) Holy (like in god) Unholy (like in the demon) Darkness (like in shadow) Death (like in the reaper) Life (like in being born... lol) Nature (like in wood and animals) Chaos (like in disorder) Fire (like in lava and fire) Water (like in ice and water) Air (like in the air and skies) Time (like in "tick tock!" (lol)) Telepathy (like in mysterious) Gravity (like in regulation of gravity) Lightning (like in electricity) Sound (like in noise and song) Other unknown elements that well get to know later (PM for ideas!) Then there is hybrid elements. The more elements in one the harder to control and all combinations is not equally good... like water and lightning... that goes like "ATTAZAAAAAAP!" (he hit himself when starting attack) so beware with hybrid elementing! It may turn out badly.
You may also want to know that you don't have to only could be able to know one type of element, but you can learn them all individually, and in their hybrid forms. but... for starts don't exceed more than 2 different ok? ( for an example hybrid fire and sound and the element gravity) (if this confuses you tell me... by PM)
Races: Human Elf (night elf, blood elf and high elf for an example) Beastman (werewolf, vampire mix of cat and man for an example) Monster (one eyed flying thing for an example) Undead (vampire and skeleton for an example) Centaur Orc Imp Dwarf Gnome Creature (medusa mermaid for an example) Talking Animal (an talking owl for an example) Hybrid (a mix of a dwarf and a medusa for an example) You may make your own species. It just needs to be approved by me. You need to send a PM with ALL details on the species and no secret ability!
Class: Warrior Mage Battlemage (hybrid) Paladin Hunter Priest Adventurer Far Seer Oracle Mystic (like in priest with hood thingy...) Knight Elemental Mage (AoE!!!) Ninja Martial Arts Fighter Ranger Assassin Other You may invent your own class and again I need to approve it! Also there's hybrid classes and triple classes. Whatever you do, do not mix martial arts fighter with a ranger! i dont think it would make a good combo ^^
Jobs: Medic Nurse Medic Mage Bounty Hunter (like in head hunter) Hunter (like in animal product hunter) Treasure Hunter (like in I hunt whatever) Smith Mercenary Assassin (the job assassin) Butch Guard Shopkeeper Miner Ok. If I should mention every job, then this list would be getting a little too long! Plus, a job is sometimes like an ability such as if you're a medic mage, then you can say "I don't wanna work anymore" and still got the job badge and the abilities. Every job (nearly) requires something to get. Like medic mage is one of them taking the longest time. and its upgraded from medic and that's upgraded from nurse. but jobs can be used in fights... like assassin, does the backstab. and you can have different job grades, like being a guard and a medic... though working on both at the same time may be stressful...
Some "jobs" is not quite "jobs" but just called "jobs" like fishing (in other words hobby-like jobs).
PM me if I did a mistake or forgot something.

Quests: The lost man in the forest The distorted area The butchers task (daily) The farmers task (daily) The war between "name" and "name" The arena challenge The robbery of the prison The women in the sandstorms Beetly the beetle tourist in the dessert Trapped by sandmage The future is now or so says the futurist's below the sand. Give peace on the graveyard (priest/paladin like quest) The weird voice from below Sasha's grave stone Now go do them a favor! (believe me... there is some quest that has hidden things in it like hidden elements!) You better do some of them in groups! On top of these quests, there is some secret quests in the forest.

The forest is normally a peaceful place but that's not it here! I have set random encounters up (about 50% is nothing but the rest can be dangerous) so it'll be better to group up before entering! (non player or player anything goes!)
A dessert is not a peaceful place and neither is it here! beware of the deadly scopia, and the deadly dunia, or meet the giant beetle mother's children! Plus with the sandstorms raging better be with a medic and a merchant on the trip!
The graveyard is known for its R.I.P theme above each grave, but did they listen? Not all I can tell! Here are some few remnants, and be sure not to cross the demon's evil pacts on your way! (Hint: A rumor is in town about this place! Actually more... but not all is truth!)

I have added local city masters and here they come: Cid - the smith Layla - the farmer/herbalist Marlick - the great mage's trainee Roland - warrior general Marei - paladin master Gren - priest/sorcerer elder Majeer - mayor steeve - traveler nexim - librarian greeun - bartender
There are other important citizens in start city, so I'll add some later.
Attack Type System: Normal attacks go over one energy, but everyone knows that you can fight just a demon lord with a kick. So that's why I set a formal in on the attacks here.
Attack costs: 1 energy Quick Attack Costs: 1 energy. does: half attack, double speed (50 att 200 spd) Strong Attack Costs: 2 energy. does: 300 % att 50 % spd "Element Name" Attack Costs: 3 energy, 1 mp. requires: 2 int. does: 200 % att (extra bonus if: costs: 7 eng. require: 4 int 2 str. does AoE 2 and 300 % att) be warned for each level of resistance a creature has against an element, 2 damage will be removed. Rage Costs: 2 eng, 1 morale. does: att dice moved up with one. (bonus for each morale point is set in: plus 10 percent att maximum 300 % bonus) Stunt Attack Costs: 3 eng. requires: 3 dex. does: 200 % speed 150 % attack.
The bonus is if you lay an extra amount of stats into an attack. It's obvious that it'll get stronger if you try more. AoE is my way of saying that it hits more than one opponent.

Hunger "o" Meter Everyone (nearly) has a hunger, right? For each action you do, it will cost you food you have eaten. Each day food will be consumed automatically too. 3 food per day automatically eaten. Other actions require 3 food per hour. maximum food is 100 in other words: 0-100 food is possible.
Sleep "o" Meter Everyone (nearly) needs to sleep! Each hour will cost 10 for doing things and 5 for doing nothing. The amount of sleep you can have differs from race to race, and can be trained. (For example, humans basis : 0-100 vs. elves basis: 0-1000.) For each hour sleeping you regain 15 sleep. That means you need about 6-7 hours sleep if human (VERY realistic). The regain of sleep can be changed, but so will the maximum amount of sleep, It get A LOT tougher to keep it up later on. Sleep can be set down. (Like human nowadays, doing nothing ends up needing more sleep to do more of nothing!)

How to make a character and how to do stuff with it. There is the character request formal - Character Name: Element: Class: Race: "Job": Story: Stats: Int: Str: Agi: Age: End: was you born on this planet?: if no then how did you come here?: No class, race, job or story is needed, but you may add them if you want him to have some. The age may be between 13-32 any older and you wouldn't be able to go adventuring and any younger, you would die on sight! You have 7 stat points to give out to the 4 type of stats. Beware that 1 endurance point requires 3 points instead of 1 even though you start with one in each without using anything. The element will be your favorite element, so it'll be able to start in academies. "Job" is hobbies that will give you a helping hand later on, though some jobs may be for jobs. Only one hobby job and one serious job may be chosen, though in that case you won't be so good in both. That goes for all things. The more you choose, the more you distribute your things to. It'll be lot worse if you choose 3 instead of 1 element.
Now to after it's made. You have to manually decide where you equip the different things. Such as "I equip a deadly ring on my 2nd finger from the left". (If the character is human or elf, then you have 10 fingers.)

now... some jobs requires an awfull lot of training or/and materials... the hardest, is the herbalism/chemistry after that is the smithing/mining and then there is some "JOBS" that require an awfull lot of luck... like gambling, fishing, and hunting requires a VERY little but more in the start. ill add the luck counters for things like that later and the job like smithings mining, stuff later on too.
this is update notices
ive made the story since no one PM'ed me about it... >.< well i think its ok but what do you think??? soon up is mountain! look forward to it!

when you loose all your morale and go under 0 then turn it upside down and make it count up again, youre growing evul twisted . when using things like morale itl go like you have 1 point remaining out of 3. that means you maximum is the one needed to be burried under 0 limit.
when you loose all your energy... you will begin to use spirit and morale each time you attack. once you run dry of all 3... you will colapse. if you run out of morale first you will try to flee. you use equal of each type of stats like if 4 eng is used you use 2 morale and 2 spirit (temporarily).
when your hp reaches 0 you will have to roll the 100 sided dice once again and see what happens... worst case scenario: you turn undead (unless thats yer goal...) best case scenario: the thing you fought leaves you unconcius. (yer totally best...) so just try to avoid to die! ok? tho you never know if i put something strange in the dice roll... now you do mrgreen .
when mp reaches 0 you can use spirit instead of mp. each time 1 spirit is used that many percent of spirit it was you drop in spdef and spdmg. when run dry... no more magic for you! until you recover it ^^
if you loose all hp in the arena nothing happens else than a dice roll (4 sided) and that many hours youll be spending in the hospital biggrin .
if you die under a quest or loose to a need to do before time limit you will suffer whatever stood on the quest that the consequences were. not always consequences on quest's and in thos cases you do the normal "dead dice roll".
this will be updated later when i found out more evul things that could happen... MEHEHEH!" twisted

here im gonna explain why i work slower here at the moment. A: this is reaaaaally slow and boring process so, i need to get my guts up before starting on a random encounter list or a job level list. B: i dont really have a map or a story yet, so i cant just go around plundering too many names thats also why the mountain has no name and the forest is just called the forest. C:my brain's starting to bust because of overuse on this project it makes it slower process= even more boring and guts taking.
this concludes that i could need a helping hand!
now im gonna post the first 5 levels of smithing smithing (stage 1) (level) (does) 1:smith together basic ores (copper tin) to bar's 2:smith sword out of copper (short sword) 3:smith sword out of copper (sword) 4:smith long sword out of copper 5:smith 2 hands sword out of copper, smith small shield out of copper
the rest will come as you progress and so it is in the other' stuff because my brain is busting and i dont need to do unecesary work.... so ill do the work when its needed, and hey! then itl come more like a surprice! (there aint no list in reality saying that if you got that and that skill level you can do that and that is there?)

basis spell's: "element" ball "element" "spell" basis energy ball basis energy spell spirit ball spirit spell
(these goes over for basis attacks, like fire ball!) some things isnt ball shape, it is in other shape or stuff... like time (which is also pretty hard to control) goes like "time distortion!" ("element spell")
the tougher the spell type the harder it is to control the more you gain later... the toughest in this rpg for now is definitly time and telekenisis. some elements are in war, and because of that you can only choose one of the agressive parties... like time and telekenisis have been in war ever since the start of time. literaly!
