(Shall stand .."someone" in the poll XDDD)

Okaay! I need help. <.< >.>
I need help with banners.. D: (read bellow before you reply)
So.. The thing is I want to make a banner with two pictures.. and .. I'm not good at explainng things in english, so I'm pretty sure you have no idea what I'm talking about.. sooo... I have pictures to help meh C:

I wanna' learn to make banners like these:

[ Sample 1]
[ Sample 2]
[ Sample 3]

You see.. I wanna' learn how to.. errr... "melt" two or more pictures together if you understand XD (crap)

soo.. if you can make a tut..or you know a site where I can go... Please comment D:

I had found a great site where a person tuted exactly for two pictures AND for just photoshop 6.0 but I can't find it anymore D:
NOTE: PHOTOSHOP 6.0 IS WHAT I HAVE.. SO.. IT WOULD BEEN EXTRA NICE IF YOU COULD MAKE/FIND SOMETHING TO THAT

Finally got CS3 XD YEY! ~~

sorry i dont got photoshop 6 i got CS3 and 4 but basically tell me if this works

*TUTORIAL*

copy a picture from the net...then open photoshop

create a new document with transparent backround

it should auto detect the copied pictures height and width and auto set the campus dimensions for it

once the new document is created paste it (EDIT>PASTE...or ctrl+v)

now use the quick selection tool/lasso/magnetic lasso/crop tool to either crop or select the part you want to use

if you used the CROP tool just crop...

but the others ones are better...so if you used them do the following

once the area is selected that you want...right click and then click REFINE...

a box should appear with many options...one being FEATHER....make FEATHER 0.5 and everything watever else you want (what looks right to you)

click OK

now dont touch anything.....got to NEW DOCUMENT AGAIN and create the banner size you want with transparent backround....and ok...

now you have 2....minimize the one you just made and it should be bottem left in a small box....now you have your first one that you finished editing....click the BOX icon (top right were there is the _ <2 boxes over lapping> and the X icon) click the <2 boxes overlapping> and then it should be in a small box floating...also do that to the new document you just made in the bottem left

NOW

you have 2 floating boxes....click the first one (not the new one) and click the MOVE tool (like a cursor type icon above lasso and stuff) now click and move that selected parts that your refined...over to the new document...

now you have the new document having the selected and refined part from the other document....

NOW if everything is still fine and you want nothing with the original document you can close it so you only have the new one open....

now repeat this as many times as you want till you have 2 or more refined selected images in the banner document....

now just move it around....to the positions you want were they overlap....

from here i would do other compicated things to make things perfect...

try up to here and then try yourself because from here i would customize it to my liking....so im not sure how to tell you what to do next....

did this answer your question?
