i like the idea :]
and i think the crop works quite well too.

i think maybe it'd be better if it was sharper, and i also think the shadows would look better if they weren't so harsh?

Really, I have catch not the idea.
Why this color? Why this crop? What about heart? confused Certainly not my type of work. sweatdrop

But... The focus is at far shoulder... Focus slip?

If I were you I would use a Small f-number (like F1.8 or F2)
I that doesnt make sense to you:
Try to focus on the heart and try to get the background unsharp.

You also could crop the image a bit smile
