Along with a large amount of large homes, there are several institutions of technology in Durem and a few expensive stores. Also, the company Golem corps is situated in Durem. Its headquarters and most of its engineering labs, as well as a few of its warehouses, are located in Durem.

Institutes of technology- Many research laboratories are located around Durem, as well as schools based on furthering the knowledge of technology. While they do not sell any of what they make, it has been rumored that one can find powerful weapons hidden in these institutes.
Golem corps HQ- The headquarters of the company Golem corps is located in northern Durem. It is a large building and is well guarded. Few people know what is inside, and they have not started selling anything to the general public. However, it has been rumored that they are selling weapons to the Barton police as well as to Gambino.
