Age: 25 but looks like she's 18 (She's been around for quite a while though so no one really knows how old she is)
Gender: Females
Race: Vampire? Before that Japanese
Personality: She's a very friendly and caring sort of person, which is why she opened her bar/safe-haven. While she may be friendly, it seems like she's always holding herself back, like she doesn't want to get too close to anyone. She also tends to space out sometimes.
Appearance: Long black hair normally pulled back into two messy buns, pigtails, or just a loose ponytail at the nape of her neck. Bright purple eyes. Pale. Short at 5'2
Powers: She's pyrokinetic, is faster, and can jump longer/better than normal vampires can
Weaknesses: Other than the normal vampire weaknesses, she is oddly weak to mind-based powers.
Home: She owns an underground bar in Tokyo that is a known safe-haven for vampires but it is also a neutral zone, where everyone that enters it is safe, including humans.
Other: She's an oddly good tracker but she was like that before she was turned.
-She's normally rather pacifistic but if you break the law of her bar, you will pay.
-She doesn't like forcibly taking blood from humans being a pacifist and all and animal blood gives her a horrid headache so she frequents the local blood bank.
Hope that's not too much or whatnot. Also, I was wondering, just what kind of vampires are you talking about here? I know you said no Twilight stuff but are these vampires still weak to sunlight/fire and stakes and such? And do they also still have the enhanced senses, speeds, and strengths and whatnot? Sorry if I'm thinking too much into this or whatnot but I think to make sure everything's covered in a RP before I start in it ^^;

agreed, great bio. okay, i wasn't specific enough here.
Vampires: not sunlight sensitive, we're like humans in most ways. We have sharp teeth and nails, but not too sharp that people think anything of it. Our skin is tough. We have enhanced senses, about 10x that of a human for smell,sight, and hearing, and we can lift anything. We can mentally communicate with any other vampire, as long as both agree to it.
We can be killed the same way as any human, its just harder, because of thick, hard skin.

The sun had just set in Tokyo and the nightlife was just beginning to stir. One girl in particular was getting her underground bar ready for that night. Her bright purple eyes scanned the bar, which was simply named the Haven, making sure everything was in place before she went and unlocked the front door and flipped on the light switch that would light up the little sign she had hanging out front.
At first glance, one might think that this girl was a porcelain doll brought to life with her pale complexion and short stature. But if she were examined closer, one might notice that her nails, which were a lovely shade of blood red tonight, seemed to always be pointed, and her canines were also oddly pointy.
So that may be one reason she opened a bar. With the dim lighting, who would notice that the bartender was a vampire? Reiko, which was this girl's name, also opened her bar as a safe haven to all that walked through the doors, including the humans. She also had places for other vampires to stay, if they so chose. But everyone had to abide by the rules, which were simple: No spilling blood of any form and no enticing the more mortal patrons away to become a quick snack. As long as these simple rules were followed, everyone was left alone to be as happy or as miserable as they chose.
Rei took up her normal place behind the bar and began to read a book she kept stashed under the counter to keep her entertained till people started to show up.

"Ah, Reiko, how are you this, fine, fine evening? Still caught up in that book, I see. Magnificent choice, madaam. I'll have to usual, por favor." Medri said in a singsong voice, walking swiftly into the Haven. Her eyes glowed a bright green, and her dark skin glinted in the dim lighting. She took a seat directly in front of Rei and rested her head on her hands.

Rei jumped slightly at Medri's sudden entrance. She quickly composes herself though, and swiftly prepares her order.
"I'm doing pretty good. I'm rather bored though." She sighed slightly. "How're you?" She pulled the hair tie out of her hair then swiftly rearranged her hair into the two messy buns it was normally worn in.
((Speaking Spanish in Japan, I see ;P ))

Medri stood and studied Rei's soft features. "Complicated, as usual." She said passively. "You know the drill. You seem...tired? No...stressed. What's up? And don't say nothing, I can read you better than a picture book."
