It was late December, in the year 1862.
Day break was about to hit and school would start in a few hours, and all the students would be off to school.
The alarm went off with a loud and annoying beeping sound that woke Kenju up from a deep sleep, but he wasn’t quit ready to wake just yet as he quickly hit the alarm once killing the sound, the alarm again went off five minutes later and Kenju did a repeat as he stopped to alarm once again.
Finally as the alarm went off the third time so did he mom, yelling at him to get out of bed and get to school, Kenju moaned at her, like he does every morning for he would rather sleep then to get up in the cold and walk to school.
Kenju got out of bed one foot after another then straightened out and stretched, then picked some cloths out for the day.
Kenju picked up a dark blue, plain shirt that brought out his muscular build out and a pair of black jeans slightly baggy for he would very much rather be relaxed while sitting in a class room for hours, shortly after he got out of the bathroom a knock on the door occurred, he was very excited for he knew who it was.
Kenju opened the door and there stood his best friend Yuki, a lot shorter then Kenju purple hair, and a very gorgeous figure, she was wearing a black and blue dress which went well with her bright blue colored eyes.
Kenju glanced at her, and smiled, inviting her in while he grabbed his bag and his sandwich, Yuki smiled and walk in cheery as always she was always polite, and pry one of the best students in the class, she help Kenju a great deal when it comes to their studies.
Kenju and Yuki arrived at school forty minutes later, and made it in time to hear the school bell ring, also knowing the sound meant school start in no less then five minutes, Kenju stared at the sky for a moment almost like he got lost somewhere in the clouds, it was kind of interesting Yuki always thought, she always wondered what he saw, maybe it was the fact that up there was no limits, you are free and can do as you please, maybe he is just lost and needs help in the right direction, who knows.
Yuki sighed.
“Kenju“, Yuki yelled, hey common lets go or where going be late for class, Kenju snapped out of it and saw that Yuki was already walking towards the school door, one minute to the class door the final bell rang, Yuki already in her seat, Kenju walked into the room and the professor look at him and said, “your late Kenju take a seat”
Kenju sighed.
Then took his seat behind Yuki and this fat kid in class who is always eating like life was going to end, it was sometimes disturbing at the same time made you hungry, right as Kenju looked over at the kid, he offered Kenju some of his crackers, and smiled.
Kenju shook his head then his stomach growled, as he sighed again.
After school, Kenju and Yuki meet up with two of their friends, Luna who was short and very athletic also a cutie, then there was Ray slightly shorter then Kenju, and had a muscular build, as well as a short beard.
These where the friends Kenju and Yuki grew up with in school and could count on them for anything.
They all meet up by a big grandfather tree by willow oaks park, one mile outside of school,
Ray and Luna was already bickering about school and Kenju didn’t want to hear it all he could say was, “hey how about lets not talk about school, lets go find something interesting to do, I know this cave not to far from here”.
Everyone agreed, as they stopped by there houses on the way to drop there stuff off and grab some flashlights and Kenju favorite katana, which he brought anywhere he want to go explore at, Yuki thought it was very cute, it was like a fantasy or something that he had about being a hero or something.
As they all grabbed there stuff and met back up by the grandfather tree, they all where very excited and started heading up to the old runes near a beach that was probably no more then a five mile walk from where they are now, they carried a lot of conversations on the way about movies, and new martial arts they have learn over the years, and about school, as time got near and they where about five minutes from this place, Kenju pulled out two sandwiches for him and Yuki.
Kenju smiled at Yuki and gave her the sandwich, Yuki gave that big beautiful smile right back, Ray was watching and kind of always thought that there was something between Kenju and Yuki, that maybe he was right and he would see at some point, then Ray laughed aloud, Yuki and Luna stared at Ray puzzled on why he was laughing.
They finally arrived at the cave and got very curious, they all saw a sign, reading “keep out”, Ray stubborn as ever was the first to walk in then, Kenju went in behind him.
Yuki, and Luna followed them inside the cave and turned on there flash lights, they all slowly walk into this cave and it seemed to go on for a few miles and then they saw what looked like pre made stairs, they stopped, and looked at each other wondering if they should.
Ray again took point and started down the stairs, Luna announced that she did not want to go down these stairs, Yuki didn’t look like she was up for it either but because Kenju started off behind Ray so did Yuki, Luna was holding Yuki’s hand tight and followed on in, Kenju said to Luna,” It will be alright we are here with you”
that didn’t help much considering they are all at a disadvantage and it was darker then night in here, if it was for there flashlights it would be like walking in dead space, also the further down they got it started smell retched, a awful smell, kind like death a little, they hit the bottom and the walls where covered in mud and was very moist and the floor was wet, and then Yuki yelped when she saw on the floor a skull, and held onto Kenju tightly.
Kenju held Yuki close and then also said again,” its ok I wont let anything happen to you, your safe with me”.
Yuki, slightly smiled but was still a little petrified, Kenju and Ray moving down this tunnel now with the girls behind them, as Kenju and Ray hit a corner they saw a glow, which got brighter as they got closer, a bound of shivers went through all there bodies and it felt like someone was watching them from this point.
Ray moving a light bit more ahead then the rest, went past another corner and lost sight of the others, Ray got a really bad feeling about this for some reason and started seeing shadow’s swiftly shifting in the darkness, it really does feel like someone if watching them and as he got closer the saw more shadows in the dark and then a relic sitting on a table, guarded by two Demon statues, Ray stopped and stared at it.
Kenju and the other arrived a min later seeing the same shadows and the relic sitting on the table, it kind of had this possessive aura to it, Luna ran over to the relic and picked it up, fear no longer visible but instead greed became reality, she stared at the relic holding it close to her but then as she stepped but, she tripped over her self knocking the relic out of her hand and into the air follow with a smash to the floor, Ray managed to catch Luna but the Relic was all over the floor.
Kenju holding Yuki stepped back noticing a weird aura around all of them, it was like a purple and blue mist, and the walls began to bleed with black ooze, and then the statues started to look more alive, seconds later they where.
Kenju told Yuki and Luna to run, as Kenju grabbed for his katana, one of the demons charged at him with a couple of slash’s, Kenju managed to dodge but felt like he was moving fast then normal, Kenju stepped in and kneed the demon in the stomach then elbowed it in the face knocking it down, with a powerful thrust, the other demon knocked Ray across the room, slamming him into a wall, Ray yelling, and then feeling a rage build up ran at the demon and threw a hard right hook then throwing the demon into the other one, slamming both of them into the wall.
Kenju rushed over and thrusts his sword into the Demons chest, and said,” Two Demons with one stone”, and smiled.
Kenju and ray both then passed out after the fight, Yuki and Luna, stepped back into the room and noticed them on the ground and the two demon dead, Yuki ran over to Kenju and tried to wake him up, slowly but surely he was wakening as was Ray.
As they both slightly recovered, they all paused and heard a shrieking sound all throughout the cave, Yuki seeing a spear by where the relic once was picked it up and went back to Kenju to help him up.
Ray stood and shook his head, then said “ what the hell was that, is this even possible”,
Kenju shrugged but knew something was very wrong, they all slowly head back threw the cave and back up the stairs, Kenju feeling weird as was all of them, like something in that aura transformed there body with something unknown.
As they reached the top of the stairs they heard a scream, it sounded like a female voice, Kenju and Yuki looked over that way and told Ray and Luna to meet them by the entrance, because they where a lot weaker right now and barely could stand, they nodded, and headed off.
Kenju and Yuki ran in the other direction to where the scream was, there where a lot of the shadows around again but this time it was on or with the wall but wondering the floor ground, Kenju getting light headed a little got ready to attack and then noticed a flame on his blade, Yuki then noticing a Purple Ice form building on here spear, they wondered if they had possessed some kind of power after the purple mist hit them.
Kenju and Yuki charge through slashing through these shadow like demons left and right, till they hit the end, and staring right at the screaming girl.
The girl was being chocked by a giant Monster almost resembled a werewolf, the girl look toward Kenju try to say “Help” her eyes widening, and tears flowing down her cheek.
Kenju in anger started provoking the Monster, Yuki getting in fight position behind Kenju.
The Monster threw the girl onto the floor and was now looking at Kenju, drooling and gasping, its eyes going fire red like a bulls sight at seeing the wrong color.
Kenju raised his sword and ran at the monster swinging one slash forwarding with a strong punch which came with a fire thrust knocking the monster back, Kenju now knew his was possessing the power of fire and smirked knowing this would be to his advantage, the Monster slashed at Kenju scraping his arm a bit and the grabbed Kenju into a bear tight squeeze, Yuki’s eyes got wide and then ran at the monster, thrusting her spear into the monsters side causing it to let Kenju go, Yuki then jumped into the air and did a rabid spike with her spear sticking the monster five times into the back and one in the neck.
Kenju regaining his breath picked his sword back up and kicked the monster hard in the stomach the slashing at its chest causing it to bleed, the monster moaning threw a hard punch at Yuki knocking her to the floor then threw another at Kenju, Kenju managed to dodged its strike and then his whole body went in flames as he did a final strike, Kenju took a jumping leap into the air and slash at the monsters throat, knocking his head clean off and the monsters body hit the floor seconds later, Kenju running over to Yuki helping her up then looking over at the girl, and asked her name and why she was in this cave.
The girl still recovering, from the attack looked back at Kenju and answered.
I am Princess Kasumi, thank you for helping me,
I was in this cave because someone told
me there was something valuable in here,
but I see you found it before I did this
Item grants you great powers, and knowledge
that will be known to you soon.
The only problem to unlocking this
power is the fact then when it is unleashed
so is all the creatures sealed in this cave
the power is scourged into all the lays inside this
if that item is broken, then it breaks the seal on
the cave and puts the world itself in danger.
I was hoping to get this power and lock it away
where no one could get to it and break the seal
but I see I am too late.
Years ago monsters and demons, where
sought into battle among the ancients
and fought only to cause chaos controlled
by the dark lord who didn’t know the
wrong of his own doings, there for
five warriors died to deal that monster in
that relic and storing him and his minions
away forever.
Kenju at near Yuki confused, but couldn’t say he didn’t believe the words he had heard for he has already seen the power she has talked about.
Kenju Pick up Yuki and then asked Kasumi to come with him, she nodded and started walking his way.
As they got to the entrance Ray stood up and stared at this girl that walking out with Kenju, she was very beautiful, had long black hair, and blue eyes, and had a dragon tattoo on her right arm, her cloths though looked as if she was a rouge assassin.
Luna ran over to Kenju to see if Yuki was alright, Kenju nodded and said she just need some rest, she took a heard hit back there.
The girl introduced her self to Ray and Luna, as Kenju stared into the sky again like he normally does but this time it was fear that cause him to do so as well as confusion, Yuki slightly wakening up felt Kenju’s warm arms hold her, and noticed him looking into the sky with a curious stare.
Kenju looking at the sky, and the color of it, looked like death, the clouds and the sky itself was mixed with darkness and the clouds looking dark red and slight bit of orange, the air felt like it was going to rain, and something just felt different then before they went into the cave, maybe everything she said was true and they just opened the seal onto there own world.
Kenju “sighed”
Yuki’s arms got tighter around Kenju’s neck and looked up at him trying to smile but her eyes, just the look in her eyes showed passion, she knew something was wrong, but all she cared about was to keep Kenju safe and with her.
Kenju looking back at Yuki with relief that she was alright, seeing the look she gave him, only made Kenju realize the only thing that matters is to keep her safe, if something would happen to her then, everything would be at a lose, Kenju made a promise to himself at that moment, to stay by Yuki’s side and be there for her when ever she need him.
Kenju smiled back at Yuki with a small tear running down his cheek, then letting her back on her feet making sure she is ok to stand.
Kasumi, stood up and looked into the distance and said,” Its starting, the world is starting to go dark, by the next day they will start to appear so be ready”.
Kenju nodded as did the rest , then they headed off Kasumi leaving with Luna to her house, for a place to stay, and Kenju taking Yuki to his because his mom would be out tonight, when he got to the house Yuki sat on the couch and called Luna to call her house and tell her mom that she was staying the night at Luna’s house, so she would not worry.
Kenju got changed and went back out to the living room, looking at Yuki sitting on the couch, still a bit shook up from earlier at the cave.
Kenju went by Yuki and sat down next to her, Yuki looked at Kenju and held onto him and rest her head on his chest.
They both knew how each other felt about each other, they both just played around it with a hidden passion but tonight they both knew and could no longer ignore it, Kenju lifted Yuki’s chin up and slowly moved toward Yuki, and Yuki moving toward Kenju for a kiss, then it happened their passion that they held for so long is now a reality,
Kenju held Yuki close to him as they kissed for moments on in, then it started to go a lot further, Kenju and Yuki ended up in the room kiss, and saying sweet nothings into each others ear, the sparks flew that night and there bond became very close, a few hours later they where both asleep, holding each other tight.
