((I just had Rone added here today, check requests))

A long haired boy with deep green eyes wearing a half-shirt and jean shorts that barely covered him at all really walked into the room. He looked around examining the room and nodded a bit. "Two roommates? that works I suppose." He smiled a little as he snapped his fingers gently and his bags seemed to hop up to attention and float into the room. The bags migrated over to the bed and gently set themselves down. "Ok let's get this over with." He focused his mind and used his powers to not only open all his bags but move everything into the air with about 3 or 4 items at a time moving and being set into place rather quickly the whole process taking about 3 minutes. Rone walked over and sat down on the bed resting after all that energy use. "I need to practice more." He thought aloud before getting up again grabbing a towel and a new set of clothes that were more appropriate. "A shower should help." He said to himself before heading in to take a shower.

Rone hadn't been in there more than 2 minutes before he shouted in surprise.

Nokra had appeared with a dark mist in the bathroom right next to Rone. "Oh heya Rone.' she said in a cheery tone and a smile. The smile faded quickly when she saw the look on his face. "Bad time?" She asked more to give herself a few seconds to think what to do before she hopped up and ran.

Rone had given Nokra the glare of death before she ran. "Smart girl." He said grabbing the towel and wrapping it around himself before chasing her down and yelling her name.

Aleck had opened the door with the key that he was given when he had entered the dorm first of all. Darkshine could either wait outside or walk in with him; it didn't really matter with him right now. But.. He couldn't help but notice just one other detail on the door. It had names engraved in them of course, but there was this one name that seemed to have given him some chills. Sly, why did it sound familiar? Eh, he hadn't quite heard it before, but the name suited the female he had encountered in the courtyard.. Hopefully, she was not his roommate; this Rone would be experiencing violence of all type if they were. And injuries, let's not forget the injuries now.

As he entered his room, he instantly went straight to his dresser. He did notice another roommate who was male; but he put his attention back to finding a pair of pants and some sort of shirt. Immediately he grabbed a black cropped jacket, a somewhat bright orange turtleneck top, and a pair of black jeans that were somewhat ripped in the knee parts. Why? Well, the last time he wore these was when he was practicing in the forest. He managed to get himself into quite a mess then; and it ripped his jeans just a bit.

Quickly, he changed pulling off his shirt and putting on the orange tank top and then the black jacket. Halloween colors; but he really didn't like how cliche` it seemed. He could have been more creative; but he didn't feel like matching or whatever. It was only luck that he had grabbed orange and black. Next he unzipped his jeans, shaking that off and then he put on his black jeans in place of his blue ones. They felt somewhat more comfortable; and he was going to be wearing his comfortable tennis shoes. Much more easier to walk in.

Make up? Oh no, that was something that he didn't do. Anything else? Ha, no, he was finished now. His hair was a mess, but it was naturally that way, it seemed. Besides, it will only get messier later. He tilted his head towards his roommate, telling him about the little fiasco going on incase he didn't hear, "Hey, a little heads up, but if you didn't hear about it yet, there's a formal like dance going on later." Polite, simple, and to the point right?

His eyes flickered back over to Darkshine, and he rubbed the back of his head. "Bah, this is alright, right?" He was doubting it a little; but it'll have to do. "Shall we head to where it's located now? I have a feeling we won't get too lost if we follow the people heading in that direction."

'The Darkness of Desire'

Darkshine

The first real shock of the day. It was rather hard to catch the djinn of guard the way Aleck did. But amazingly, the boy who Darkshine had completely tagged as a very anti social and a very hands off person, decided to grab his hand.

For the simple fact that Darkshine was afraid he'd break his wrist jerking it back, the djinn did not attempt to pull his hand away. No one he had ever met had ever felt compelled to touch the strange djinn. Then again, many who summoned him already knew what he was. Djinns, common demons of fire. A creature of fire? Not something one would be wanting to touch. But despite how pale his complexion was, Darkshine's skin was not cold at all, in fact, the skin, if it could indeed be called that, was actually smooth as marble, and the heat of his spirit warmed it from with in. As soon as Aleck reached his room, he left Darkshine at the door way. But as the boy walked in, the djinn remained outside.

Like Aleck, Darkshine was also caught by the names on the door. When he looked away he had a most amused smile. As much as Darkshine wanted to, he dared not enter unless invited in, in some form. Silly djinni habits. They could be invited in and be forced to leave quite easily, if Aleck was really was so annoyed with him, getting Darkshine to take off was rather easy and no hassle at all.

The aforementioned human that was the center of Darkshine's attention was at the moment, putting about his room. Sometimes he walked out of view and the djinn would lean to the side of the door (but never cross the threshold) trying to watch.

Was he...trying to change? Though clothes had long since lost their necessity for protection, humans had taken to making them more complicated as a sign of status. But who was Darkshine to complain? It was rather fun even if it was annoying from time to time. He'd never say it aloud, but he'd hate it if he had a master who didn't know how to keep a presentable appearance. None of his kind ever thought to brag or compare masters, but everyone was aware that everyone else was still doing it.

Formal huh? Darkshine glanced down at himself. He was already in perfect party going clothes. At least he thought so, but what fun was that? He'd already debuted these as his school threads. Time for something....truly fitting the spooky holiday spirit.

It was more thought than effort, Darkshine merely waved his hand down his form and where his hand passed over, his clothes changed. Now dressed in sharp black suit with a purple vest, Darkshine fixed his laced neck scar, compete with a skull pin. It was distinctly victorian but had a very modern gothic twist. His black shoes shone with the same skull imprints. Darkshine straightened the white gloves on his hands as Aleck re emerged dressed in also a rather festive manner. He flashed his trade mark smile as he bowed politely. "You look rather dashing Aleck...Perfect for a party." The djinn said. "Let's get going, we shouldn't be late on such a wonderful occasion...and about that dream candy...Well I'll be gracious and let you try one first! Nice deal huh?"

He grabbed his keys, slowing down his movements as he did so. He wasn't in much of a rush now since he changed his clothes; his previous articles of fabric had been thrown into a bin. Aleck will figure out what to do with them later; right now, he was more concentrated on finding where the damn ballroom was. But it looked as if they would be rather early; and it didn't start until tonight. It was still afternoon, they had some time to waste.

And he needed to get rid of that habit, he really did. The folding arms across his chest thing often times made people think he was impatient or something along those lines. Which he is if you take more than a hour that is needed to get something or be ready. It all depends on what the activity is and how long you take. But that was a tad off topic...

However his thoughts had been popped as he noticed the outfit Darkshine had been wearing. If his memory served him right, the other had not been wearing something rather.. What was that word Aleck was looking for? Handsome? Beautiful? Maybe it was handsome. "You're not so bad yourself.." He smiled in return. "Oh, we'll probably be too early. It's afternoon right now; and the event doesn't start until tonight." He mentioned after remembering take a look at the clock in the dorm. "I think we can burn off some time until then, I assume?"

'The Darkness of Desire'

Darkshine

The djinn didn't hide the pleased smirk that Aleck liked what Darkshine had chosen for the event. It may have been something little, but the djinn always did his best to be appealing to the eyes of humans. Made it easier for the the illusion to be believed.

With a grand sweep of his arms he bowed rather regally. "Night encroaches fast, but I do agree, we should make use of these precious few moments of daylight." Darkshine stood now and gestured in a certain direction away from the room. "Let us head to the rooftop then? I think there is something interesting up there worth seeing. Good ingredients I should say."

He didn't explain but instead started off. Aleck knew the drill. "Aleck as a witch do you ever experience any sort of....Oh I don't know any sort of strange activites with your powers?" Darkshine felt it may have been idle banter, but he was actually pretty curious. It was extremely rare....okay maybe Aleck was the first witch he'd ever spoken to, but he was curious! He crossed his arms as he thought about it. "It is an event traced back to the ancient pagans who used the festival to placate the dead since this is the day that the dead come to earth. If the dead gain special powers, perhaps those of your blood also did."

This was another reason Darkshine was careful around Aleck. The boy already proved that he was exceptional with his powers, and being a witch, Darkshine was wary of the fact that his powers may perhaps experience a certain boost because of the holiday....Darkshine himself never experienced such things, because no matter how powerful he was, his frail body remained consistent.

It was utterly annoying.

"Rooftop..? What could be so interesting up there?" He questioned. Aleck didn't quite want an answer, but Darkshine could answer it anyway. Aleck caught up with the other and had started walking to their way up the rooftop.

Strange activities? He took the question into thought, if there was any, Aleck probably didn't even notice. Halloween was when some creatures gained more power for the entire holiday, but that didn't mean that Aleck was the same way. However, his mother did in fact had much more stronger magic when Halloween came around. His powers back then were unstable, and he didn't exactly get to go outside and trick-or-treat with his mother's fear that he'll accidentally bring a pumpkin to life because of it. Still, that didn't mean that he'll experience some sort of odd things with his own. Then again, he didn't practice on his magic lately besides vegetation manipulation. Even then nothing acted up, right?

"Even though I am a 'witch'," He spoke as he spotted the door leading up to the roof, "I don't think I've quite experienced anything like strange lately." He paused, replaying what had happened when a battle was about to erupt in the courtyard. Nothing strange, his own manipulation among the vines went smooth as usual. But that wasn't magic that he had to chant or summon upon. It was simply connecting yourself with nature and whatnot; it was fairly easy for the other to do so since he lived around a forest whenever he was quite young. "My ancestors from my mom's side might have though; I'm not quite sure."
Aleck headed up the stairs that would lead up to the rooftop; maybe he'll find out what's so interesting about it then..

{{Rest of post in rooftop!}}
