i actually wrote this alwhile ago. Its in 1st person because i wrote it for my mule. my mule is named 'iSasuke_mule' check it out. It took me a few hours, i guess this shows my dedication and love for Sasuke Uchiha.
I've changed little from my personality and mindset after 2 1/2 years, still craving power above all else.I have at least changed to a point that I no longer care for my so called former teammates......' well-beings, being more than willing to kill them since neither is of any use to me. my relationship with Orochimaru showed a similar lack of loyalty, for I don't allegiance with Otogakure by wearing a Sound headband. Of the loyalties I have, the only one I display is that of the Uchiha clan, the symbol of which I wears on my back with pride.
After two and a half years of training hard, Orochimaru's current body begins to fail him and he is forced to begin contemplating how to take my body. Of course I, however, was unwilling to give him the chance and attacked the weaken Orochimaru. Forced into a corner Orochimaru revealed his disgusting true form, the result of his constant experimentations and began the transfer process.
Although, just like Itachi years earlier,I had used my Sharingan to stop it. Setting myself apart from my brother, I also use the Sharingan to take control of the dimension within Orochimaru, completely turning the process against him. Orochimaru yelled in frustration, stating his refusal to let this happen and die. His destiny is to reveal the true nature of the world.When later asked by Kabuto about Orochimaru's fate, I jsut told him I have taken over Orochimaru, and retained possession of my body. After absorbing Orochimaru, I am able to heal at a faster rate, thanks to Orochimaru's white snake form.
Akatsuki learns of Orochimaru's defeat, and mobilizes Deidara and his new teammate Tobi to deal with Me . The two soon find me, and Deidara meets me battle, though my abilities prove to be more than a match for him. Angered that he is being dealt with so easily, Deidara prepares to create the biggest explosion that he can in the hopes that it will kill me. Despite Deidara's attempts, I was able to survive the worst of his best attacks. Left without options if he is to gain victory, Deidara blows himself up, hoping to take me with him. I manage to escape the blast, then forced to regroup with the other members of Snake to rest.
Once I had recuperated we headed to a nearby Akatsuki lair where I was able to meet with Itachi. Once I had exhibits my increased skills, Itachi consents to meeting with him elsewhere for our last battle. The Uchiha hideout is a large complex built into a cone shaped hill. Deep inside its chambers, I confronted my brother Itachi. Itachi sits casually in a throne chair, behind him is a large drape with the kanji character for "fox" surrounded by several tomoes. He asks me what do I see with my Sharingan. At the Uchiha hideout, I walks steadily closer to my brother and answered his question. I stated that with power I have gained, I is able to see one thing crystal clear now. I see Itachi… dead. The fight begins with Itachi appearing to have the upper hand until I impale him with Chidori and then begin asking questions. However Itachi revealed it to be a genjutsu and reveals he has yet to leave his throne. I in turn reveals my own genjutsu and stabs Itachi through the throne and continues the questioning. Itachi reveals that he had a fellow conspirator, and reveals him to be Madara Uchiha. Itachi then speaks of Madara's history, and tells me the secret of the Mangekyo Sharingan. He told me that I was his spare, and that he must take my eyes to gain the power Madara once had. I claim to turn Itachi's illusions into reality, the reality being Itachi's death, and prepares to finish my brother. A fight enuses with me and Itachi shooting shuriken at each other, and then Itachi creates a Shadow Clone to attack, but it is easily destroyed with one of my trusty shuriken, energized with the Chidori Current. Itachi then captures me in Tsukuyomi and appears to have taken my eye. While I was still in the genjutsu, I quickly activated the second level of the Cursed Seal and repels the genjutsu back onto Itachi, causing him to lose feeling in his own eye, saving both of my own.
Itachi forms hand seals and I respond by summoning a giant shuriken. Zetsu is amazed that my speed is faster than Itachi’s hand seals .I hurls the shuriken with flies at chest level. Itachi ducks but within the floor's shadow is another giant shuriken, which Zetsu recognizes as Shadow Shuriken no Jutsu. Itachi jumps to maneuver between the two disks but I pull a wire to disconnect the blades of the shuriken, which come flying back towards Itachi. One blade impales Itachi's leg and Zetsu is confused by Itachi's sudden slowness. Itachi removes the blade and watches on in a dim haze. Itachi grabs his left eye and I recognize it as the side effect of Tsukuyomi and considers how the tide of battle is turning in my favor. Zetsu ponders that the battle may have a clear winner but his other half thinks that may not be the case. I hurls a huge fireball and as Itachi jumps in the air to avoid it, he is met by me wielding Chidori . Itachi emits fire as well to launch himself up through the ceiling. I use my wing to deflect the flame and as they die down the brothers face off on the roof. Zetsu ponders that only a little damage is being taken by me so far. The brothers form seals and launch huge fireballs at each other. The strength of my flame begins to push Itachi's back, so the Itachi focuses his right eye. As blood begins to come from it he calls upon Amaterasu and opens his eye. Suddenly a huge, tendril of black flames flies towards me .Amaterasu burns out my flame and Zetsu comments on its ability to totally burn up its target, even flame itself. Itachi unleashes wave after wave of Amaterasu bursts and I move to dodge I avoids the flames as some catch the surrounding trees below on fire. One burst connects with my wing and I go to the ground
. The wing burns off and the flames are subdued by Itachi. Itachi moves to take my eye but the body disperses, revealing a crack underneath. We then see that I waited until the right moment of Amaterasu's use, to sever the roof with Chidori and use the replacement technique to generate a new body and fall back to the original room below. I go level two and Itachi grabs his eye in pain. I then begins to unleash wave after wave of Grand Dragon Fireballs. They begin to destroy the roof and Itachi moves to avoid them. One connects with his arm, burning his cloak away. I look up, winded, and tells my brother that Amaterasu appears to have weakened him. I collapse to my knees and Zetsu considers that both brothers look weak and about out of chakra. I then state the next jutsu will be my last. Itachi replies that his Sharingan reveals i'm almost out of chakra. He offers that I used Orochimaru's special replacement technique, which consumes a lot of chakra. Zetsu recognizes my absorption of Orochimaru and the young man acknowledges that I indeed almost out of chakra. However, he didn't come to this battle unprepared.
As it begins to rain Sasuke offers that this next jutsu will be impossible to avoid, just like Amaterasu. And with it, he will reproduce his vision of Itachi's death...-Lightning crackles in the sky above as the men look to the heavens. Zetsu determines Sasuke's earlier dragon Katons set up the attack. They were actually used to blast a hole in the ceiling and also warm up the atmosphere to generate thunder clouds. This allows Sasuke to channel the surge from the sky, rather than use his own chakra to create it, which would have taken an unbelievable amount of chakra. Sasuke jumps to the roof and states the jutsu's power comes lightning itself, and all he has to do is guide it. Zetsu then thinks that what Sasuke said was true, no one could dodge something faster than the speed of sound. Sasuke reaches his Chidori charged hand to the heavens and states he calls it Kirin, which is a mythological beast. In an instant the lightning creature flies from the sky and obliterates Itachi and the tower they stood on. As the dust settles a cloakless Itachi lays face down in the rubble. Zetsu wonders if Itachi is dead and Sasuke collapses to his knees, stating it's finally over. Suddenly a voice states, was that the vision of death he had seen? A shocked Sasuke sees Itachi rise to his feet. Sasuke goes level two in a rage, while also showing one of Orochimaru's eye marks over his left eye. A phantom skeletal chest surrounds Itachi, and he states without this he would have been dead. Zetsu wonders what that it is and Itachi congratulates Sasuke on becoming strong. And now, he will show Sasuke the last of his arsenal... Susanoo..
Having expanded the last of his chakra, an exhausted Sasuke is quickly running out of options. But Itachi is in no hurry and he explains to Sasuke that the Susanoo is the third and final technique which he awoke when he gained the Mangekyou Sharingan. Itachi then smugly suggests that Sasuke use any jutsus he has left up his sleeve if he has any. The sky begins to clear up, indicating that Sasuke’s Kirin attack was a one-shot deal; Sasuke is truly out of techniques now..Plumes of flames suddenly burst forth from the skeletal form of Susanno and begin to materialize into flesh and armor. In moments, the giant translucent shape of a warrior draped in flames appears over Itachi. It has several arms and is carrying a large shield and gourd..
As Sasuke stares in disbelief, his left pupil suddenly transforms into a reptilian shape and a familiar voice calls out from inside him. It is Orochimaru. With his chakra depleted, Sasuke no longer has the power to suppress Orochimaru’s consciousness inside him anymore. Orochimaru tempts Sasuke with power if he would just release him. Sasuke tries to resist but he is already past his limit. Slowly, the heads of several white snakes begin to emerge from his back. At last, Sasuke can no longer hold Orochimaru back anymore and lets out a scream as the white serpents burst forth and grow into a giant eight headed hydra that rivals the size of Itachi’s Susanoo..
Itachi comments that he recognizes this aura as belonging to Orochimaru and begins to move closer. One of the heads of the hydra attacks, but Susanoo unplugs his gourd and draws out the vapors within to form a shapeless sword. The head of the snake is slashed to pieces in one swing. The remaining snake heads rush forward to strike simultaneously, but they crash futilely into Susanoo’s shield and then they too are decapitated by his sword. One head remains on the hydra and out of its mouth it regurgitates the slime covered and naked body of Orochimaru. Orochimaru lets out a crazed laugh and then expels his Kusanagi sword from his mouth. He thanks Itachi for forcing Sasuke to use up his chakra and therefore allow him to escape. He plans on taking over Sasuke’s body and defeating Itachi, but before he can finish his words, Susanoo plunges his giant sword into Orochimaru’s chest. Itachi completely ignores Orochimaru and once again asks Sasuke if he has any tricks left to use. Orochimaru laughs and tells Itachi that a small scratch like this won’t be enough to stop him, but then he realizes that Susanoo’s word is not a normal weapon. It is called the Sword of Totsuka, a spirit sword said to have the ability to seal whomever it pierces into an eternal dream-like genjutsu. Orochimaru had been searching for it his whole life because it is the ultimate counter for his Kusanagi Sword. He is in utter disbelief that Itachi had it all along as he is absorbed into the Sword of Totsuka and is sealed inside Susanoo’s gourd..
With Orochimaru’s presence gone, Sasuke’s body returns to normal, even his Cursed Seal state is retracted. Itachi coldly tells Sasuke that is over for him.. Itachi’s Susanoo captures Orochimaru and his hydra and absorbs them into his gourd. With Orochimaru extracted from his body, Sasuke’s returns to his normal state. Several snakes fall from the remains of the hydra’s body; one of them is shown slithering into a crevice in the rumble. The dismembered remnants of the hydra disappear as if unsummoned.. As Orochimaru is completed sealed, Itachi suddenly cringes in pain. Clearly, using the Susanoo technique carries a heavy burden on his already badly injured body. However, Itachi is persistent. He tells Sasuke that his eyes belong to him now and that he will take them slowly because he wants to savor the moment. But before Itachi could say more, he suddenly clutches his chest as a surge of pain shoots through him. He coughs up blood and falls to his knees. Because Itachi lost his concentration, the appearance of his Susanoo begins to deteriorate; the outer flaming armor of Susanoo vanishes revealing its true face..
Sasuke, seeing this an opening in Itachi’s defense, grabs a kunai attached with explosive tags from his pouch and throws it at Itachi. His projectile hits and detonates, but as the smoke clears, Itachi is still standing having been protected by Susanoo’s shield. Itachi glares up at Sasuke and begins to slowly walk towards him. Sasuke starts to move backwards. He curses at Itachi and uses a scroll to summon another kunai - this one with a dozen explosive tags attached. His second attack also detonates on target, but the result is the same - Itachi remains completely unharmed behind the shield. Zetsu now recognizes the shield as “Yata’s Mirror”, another artifact that can repel any attack. Combined with his Sword of Totsuka, Itachi is virtually invincible in both defense and offense.. Itachi reaches his hand out, creepily calling out for Sasuke’s eyes. Sasuke is out of options, he grabs his sword and performs a leaping charge on Itachi. Like his previous attacks, this one is also futile. Sasuke is thrown backwards and loses his sword.. Itachi slowly creeps ever closer. Sauske tries to retreat but finds himself backed up against a wall. He is trapped. Itachi lifts his bloodied hand towards Sasuke’s head. He then pauses, whispers something and smiles faintly - an action which confuses Sasuke. Itachi’s fingers move closer towards Sasuke’s left eye, but instead of the eye socket he just taps Sasuke on the forehead. Itachi then collapses to the ground, leaving a bloody streak on Sasuke’s face with the blood on his hand as he falls. The Susanoo disappears and Sasuke is left at a loss for words with his brother lying by his feet. Zetsu is shocked by this turn of events. A snake slithers out from hiding in the rumble.. The black flames of Amaterasu continue to spread from the ruins of the Uchiha stronghold to the surrounding forest. The white snake seen at the end of last chapter slithers towards the forest seeking shelter, but the Amaterasu has already spread there and it falls onto the snake and burns it to ashes..
Itachi lays motionless on the ground and a heavy rain begins to fall. Zetsu initially thinks Itachi has passed out, but then begins to wonder if he has really died. However, Itachi’s performance in the battle didn’t make sense to him. Zetsu has been around Akatsuki for as long as Itachi has and knows very well Itachi’s fighting level. He points out that Itachi wasn’t attacking or moving normally during the whole fight. Itachi got hit by attacks he could have normally dodged and he also kept coughing up blood as if he was suffering from some disease. Zetsu suggests that Itachi might have been wounded even before the battle with Sasuke. When Zetsu’s light side suggests that Itachi could have just been overusing his Sharingan, his dark side says that it might be something else. The rain pours heavily down on Sasuke and Itachi, washing away the blood from their bodies. In a scene similar to the one at the beginning of chapter 364, the blood running down from Sauske’s forehead drips down from his left eye, making it seem as if he is crying for his brother. Lightning suddenly cracks overhead and Sasuke is seen smiling. But then he closes his eyes and collapses due to exhaustion. The last two Uchiha brothers, lying side by side in the rain, surrounded by the destroyed ruins of an ancient Uchiha stronghold. The rain continues the fall, but the flames of Amaterasu burn relentlessly. This may be the conclusion to Sasuke’s battle, but else where another fight is just getting started..
At the sight of Sasuke and Itachi’s battle, Tobi appears and stares down at the two brothers laying side by side while the rain continues to drizzle down. Zetsu arrives moments later and Tobi comments that he is too slow. Zetsu refutes that not everyone can travel at the speed of light. Tobi is glad to hear that Zetsu recorded the entire battle and plans on watching it later. But for now, he tells Zetsu that they must take Itachi’s corpse and leave immediately.. Inside a dark cavern, Sasuke regains conscious. The room is lit only by a single candle. A voice from the shadows tells him he has given him first aid. It tells Sasuke that he has won even though it was a very close battle, and that he is still very badly wounded and should be less reckless with his life. Tobi steps out into the light and tells Sasuke not to be alarmed because they are no longer foes. Tobi tells Sasuke he has brought him here to tell him something important. Tobi gets Sasuke’s attention when he states that he has information about Itachi. He remarks that there is much that Sasuke does not know about his brother..
Tobi offers to introduce himself first and begins to remove his mask. He tells Sasuke that he is a living breathing Uchiha like himself and is the one person who knows the truth about Itachi Uchiha. As Tobi’s Sharingan is revealed, Sasuke’s own Sharingan in his left eye activates in reaction.. Sasuke’s own Sharingan is triggered as Tobi partially removes his mask to reveal the Sharingan in his right eye. Blood suddenly begins to swell from Sasuke’s eye and his Sharingan starts morphing into the same pattern as Itachi’s Mangekyou Sharingan. Tobi is caught by surprise as Sasuke’s Mangekyou activates the Amaterasu and ignites his right shoulder. In seconds, his whole body bursts into flames. Tobi yells in pain and falls back into the shadows, dropping his mask.. Sasuke’s clutches his right eye in agony but slowly relaxes as the Mangekyou fades away and reverts back to the normal Sharingan. Sasuke is as surprised as Tobi was and has no idea how his Sharingan had transformed by itself. Tobi’s voice once again comes out from the shadows and informs Sasuke that it was the Amaterasu technique which Itachi had implanted inside him. An unscathed Tobi emerges back into the light and puts his mask back on. Tobi is impressed that Itachi had planned so far ahead that he even anticipated a situation like this after his own death. Tobi explains that Itachi planted his own jutsu in Sasuke as a last attempt to murder himself or perhaps just to keep himself away from Sasuke. He speculates that Itachi planned it so that the trigger for this trap was the sight of his own Sharingan. Tobi was fortunate to survive because he kept a few of his powers secret from Itachi...
Sasuke is confused about what Tobi is getting at. Tobi tells him that Itachi transferred his jutsu to him just before he died. It occurred when he tapped Sasuke on the forehead and left a streak of blood on his face. Sasuke cannot understand why Itachi would do such a thing. Tobi explains it simply: it was because Itachi wanted to protect Sasuke. Sasuke is initially shocked, but still refuses to believe Itachi would do such a thing. Tobi admits that Sasuke has a right to be suspicious hearing these things from a total weirdo, but he assures him that he speaks the truth...Tobi says he knows that Sasuke had asked Itachi about the person who helped him during the night of the Uchiha massacre. He reveals to Sasuke that he was Itachi’s accomplice, Madara Uchiha. Tobi comments that he knows everything about Itachi, but Sasuke tells him that he doesn’t care anymore and demands Tobi to leave. Tobi responds that it should be Sasuke’s duty to know more about Itachi. Sasuke needs to know about the man who risked his life to protect the shinobi world, the Hidden Village of the Leaf, and most of all, his little brother. It is time that Sasuke learns the truth behind the life of Itachi Uchiha. Madara tells Sasuke how Itachi killed the Uchiha under the orders of Konoha, spared Sasuke out of love, and subsequently allowed himself to be killed. Saddened with the revelation that his long-hated brother was a good person, Sasuke reunites with the members of Snake, renaming them "Hawk" as they set out to destroy Konoha. In the meantime, Sasuke agrees to have Hawk work with the criminal organization Akatsuki in gathering the two remaining tailed beasts..
