Was New Moon a bit to Edward-less for anyone's taste?
I mean, I liked that Jacob was introduced more then he was in Twilight, and we learnt a little more about the werewolves, but there was virtually no Edward action. It felt too empty.

Not that I have anything against Jacob, I agree, it was a little too Edwardless, for my taste. Of course, I'm a Team Edward gal myself, so depending on who you rather, your opinion would probably change. biggrin

Yes, I suppose that's true. But, I think it was Edward-less enough for anyone, hater or lover. Oh, yeah, and you may call me a Twilight n00b, but, what's with Team Edward, Team Jacob etc?

i know. i kinda hated it because it was a wee bit Edward-less.
i read the entire book once.but after that when ever i read it again i just skim through the middle until Alice comes back in the story stare

It's alright :3 The whole Team Edward/Team Jacob thing came up around Eclipse (not spoiling, just stating). It's basically seeing who thinks Bella should be with Edward or Edward is better, or if Bella should be with Jacob or Jacob is better. There is another team too, Team Switzerland. I think that Bella should be with Edward, but i like Jacob more than Edward (bracing for torches and pitchforks), so i consider myself Team Switzerland :3 That's how i understand it, anyway sweatdrop And for my opinion, it didn't really bother me much. I missed Edward, sure, but there was enough Jacob there so i didn't really pay attention.

I used to like edward more than jake (only the first time I read the series and before reading bd) so I did missed edward a lot during the first time I read it. During the second time ( and after reading bd) I just turned into team jacob, just for the fact that jacob did showed how he loved her... and I know he had a good ending (SORRY FOR THE SPOILERS D cool but it wasn't enough for my liking...

I thought it was a little too Edward barren. But, overall, I think it was my favorite book. My boyfriend hated me for days cause all I did was cry... I was in the middle if reading New Moon. I had called my best friend, Chrissy, and asked her when it was going to get better. She said the chapter called Visitor. And I said... Okay, that number... 17!?!?! I'm on chapter 2!!! And erupted into tears. It was a grueling experience.
It's rare for books to do that to me, though. So that's why it's my favorite. :]

Well, yes Edward was gone, but as vanny said, because you got a lot of Jacob, I didn't really think to miss Edward. I'm glad I got to know Jacob better in New Moon
As far as the teams go, I was Team Edward before I read Breaking Dawn, but after the uh.... thing (no spoilers) with "little kids" in B.D. then I like Jacob a lot more now. So... I do believe Edward shoudl be with Bella, but, I like them both so I guess I'd be Team Switzerland, but you can label me w/e you want 3nodding

Right now I'm Team Swiss! I'm not going to be ready to make a decision until I get to the end of Breaking Dawn. I just can't!! But about New Moon being too Edward-less, I don't think it was, because I like Jacob just as much, but it is true that your opinion will be different depending on how much you like each guy.

Edward is just too gentlemen-like sometimes and chooses what is best over what he really wants and feels. I believe he should be more passionate, even if it means getting a little angry sometimes..
