Just curious...
What do you think of the cast choices? I'm happy, very happy. Kristen is exactly how I thought Bella would look like: Heart-shaped face, Brunette, Average looking, etc. And Robert, don't get me started, hehe.

I think they could've chosen a better Edward, but, the rest of the cast is spectacular! They out-live my expectations!

Honestly, i think they did a good job except for the main characters.
I think they could have done better than Robert for Edward (me and my dad discussed that a lot today...yes, my dad read the twilight series XD )
I didn't like Kristen for Bella that much either, but she isn't bad.
I just had a different picture in my head for those two.
I really liked Peter for Carlisle.
I didn't really like Ashley for Alice, but i'll live with it.
Hmm...Jackson is ok for Jasper, but he doesn't match the picture in my head.
The Esme isn't bad.
Neither is the Emmett.
They could have tried better for Rosalie, but she is still good.
Taylor Lautner is a great younger Jacob, but i'm not so sure that he could pull off older Jacob...we will have to wait and see how that works out.
Ok...in most of these, the actors/actresses just don't match up to what i imagine them as...but what mortal could match up to a vampire? biggrin

Ashley Greene is much too tall to play Alice... But I guess that's okay.
Rosalie - is Hispanic... And the blonde doesn't look natural.
Jasper... He matches up alright. could have done better, but I'm happy with it.
Carlisle's pretty good. Looks like a Dr. McSparkly to me.
Esme's nearly perfect.
Charlie's... So/so. I guess he's Average Joe enough.
Billy... I didn't want him to be so young in physique. I wanted him to be old, rounded, and have long white hair. Like this Native American substitute teacher I had one time...
Jacob, is pretty much perfect, but his nose is a little too... Round. And the wig makes him look like a drag queen...
Emmet's good.
Now then....
Rob... I don't like it. At all.
Kristen. LOOKS perfect. Her voice is much too deep and her acting skill is much too... Lacking.

Well, I do love almost everyone they got. I thought their Bella and Edward are PERFECT! Exactly how I pictured them! I pretty much love their entire Cullen Crew!
I wasn't impressed with the person they chose for Laurent. It might just be me, but I just pictured him a bit differently. Same with James, I think he's a good James, but just not what I pictured.
All in all, I think they did a good job.

I don't really liek Kristen playing as Bella, she looks more liek how Jessica would in my mind..she has more of a snobby look in my opinion..but in other ways I think she suits the role.
Other than that I think they did a good job, especially for Edward, Jacob and Alice..again in my opinion.

I love the cast, who ever the casting director is they did an amazing job. Though I will admit that Bella looked a little different then I imagined but they still casted someone who could do the job well.

I've starting putting names to faces in the promo shots, so, when I've done all of them, I think I'll be able to give a good opinion of the rest of the cast!

They changed such minor details that wouldn't have really mattered to the production of the movie, that I see no need to change them. I mean, I've had odd jobs in the film industry and theatre. If there's a minor detail like needing a gold pocket watch, we do our best to find a gold pocket watch because it's what the playwright wanted. But did they pay attention for Alice's hair? Nope. Billy Black being older and more chunky? Nope. Rosalie's BMW? Nope. Emmet's Jeep? Nope. And all of those were things that were EASILY in their budget. When I went to casting calls I know they openly said "If you have any of these vehicles, please come to the front desk and sign in because we are looking to rent vehicles for use in the production." I LIVE in the Vancouver/Portland area, and I've seen the number of these vehicles driving around. And you're going to tell me not even one of those people have read Twilight or would be willing to rent their car out for an hour or two once a week for a chance to be on-set of a major production? Not to mention, they were reimbursing for gas fees, too! They were just too lazy. I wonder if they'll ACTUALLY get a Vanquish? Or if they'll change it into like, a Mustang or something lame... :[ Sorry. Just had to complain.

I agree with Alice. They need to have the authentic cars. One, because it'd make the movie more perfect, and two because they're awesome cars.

Oh, and I also agree with Bullet Mistress. I think they did a great job of James, I never really visualized him, but he still lives upto my expectations of an evil human blood-sucking vampire. Don't you just love Vege-vamps?
