I honestly thought that could've chosen a better Edward. I mean, Robert is pretty good-looking (my point of view), but, I thought they could've chosen someone better. And, he did star in Harry Potter, and most of us have turned away Harry Potter for Twilight. Not that that means anything. But, that's just my opinion. Don't get all worked up over it!

I agree. They could have done better, but i don't think anyone would ever be satisfied. I mean...who can live up to Edward's expectations? Seriously?

They should have done better. No matter, it's going to be a good movie. As long as you hold it separate from the books. The books will always be better. Always.
Rob's features... Everything that's supposed to be good looking on a man are over accentuated on his face, which kind of makes him weird looking from most angles. That could work for him if he was a model... But being an actor... That's just no good.
Speaking from someone who's been in theatre for 12 years next June. It's still only my opinion, but an educated one. :]

I like Rob. I mean, its gotta be hard having to match up to a "perfect and glorious Angel". So, with make-up and everything, I think they made him look as glorious as humanly possible (without special effects) sweatdrop

At first I absolutely loathed Rob, but now I can't wait to see him in it. And I am still on HP btw..I have not turned..but I have always liked Twilight better. Anyway, no one can come close to hwo they see 'their' Edward, but I think he fits the part very well, even if he has an english accent.

They should've chosen someone who's prettier and can act well T.T

Well personally I thought Robert was a perfect choice, he actually looked very similar to the Edward that I pictured. So I'm very happy with the choice and after a saw the second trailer I was even happier. xD

I think that he will make a good edward he may not be the cutest guy in the world but guy can act and i think that is more important

I think that makes it a little easier to deal with. I was really unhappy with it. But now I think I'm just becoming overwhelmed with excitement. Haha. I really don't think Robert has any acting skill at all, but that's just my opinion.

It took me like two months to make me get rid of his accent. I think the reason he had an accent is because i find some accents sexy... and face it... Edward Cullen made sexy.
