I was talking to my mother the other day about my boyfriend's future in the army. She started telling me things like, "You know once he is out of AIT and ROTC you're going to be expected to do and that...etc". She told I'd have to change how I dress, take out my piercings, join book clubs?!, and basically put on a stepford wife persona.
I got a bit upset over this because I'm not some one who can just fake who I am. I told her I thought it would be ridiculous to expect the wives to change completely becuase of is new rank, but she inisted I would hate be married and basically told me if I couldn't the pressure, to not even worry myself with marriage.

Sorry for wall of text, but I just have to know. When Stephen gets out of ROTC will I really have to change myself?
