if you could buy a holidayhouse in spira, where would it be?
I'd love it to be on besaid. a nice quiet town with a lovely beach

Besaid is nice, but from what I can see, there's no indoor plumbing. Granted you can't really tell if they have it at all in Spira, though.
I'd pick Luca. There's a great balance between tranquility and excitement, and it's a clean, pretty place in general. It's right on the water, but still connected to the mainland, and the blitzball stadium is there! Yup, perfect place.

I'd honestly want to live near Macalania woods I think most of all. If I couldn't live in or near there, then probably Luca or Besaid, in that order.

Macalania is gorgeous, and I would love the scenery, but other than that... Well, it's gotta be really cold for one, and lonely. Guadosalam is the only town anywhere close to it, and that's not exactly the friendliest place.
Bevelle is nice except for the whole religiousness.

I think Bevelle would be an awesome place for a Christmas get-away. If I remember my Spiran geography right, Bevelle's pretty close to macalania and rather north, so it'd probably have snow, and the whole religion thing would probably amount to beautiful decorations (yeah, I know they're Yevonites, not Christians, but they must have some kind of winter holiday).

That's a good point. ^_^ I bet there would be all these converters out on street corners and stuff though, and those kinds of people scare me. ...Actually, they probably wouldn't bother, 'cause it seems like pretty much everyone outside of the Al Bhed are Yevonites already.

I would say Besaid its a nice small town with a great sea side feel. Theres no down side.

As for a place to live in Spira, I'm thinking maybe somewhere along the Moonflow. I'd love to actually see what that place looks like at night, and I'd really enjoy looking out over the Moonflow at night with the love of my life, just the two of us. It'd be so nice...
