Setting:
The clan is large, Perched high in the trees, a maze of tree forts sit nestled in teh canopy, thay live in them exclusivly. There are three fires, one communal one, one leaders one *For heads of the clan to meet at only* and one cook fire *home makers meet there often*. The communal fire is where most meet, kittens play here and it is almost always a blaze.
The forrest thay live in is mostly tropical and has much game, a few large rivers Flow across swampy lands, these lead to the ocean and mountains if followed far enough. Traders may travel them. The forrest is very large un charted and has its dark secrets.. dangerous for small kittens to go into unsupervised.
Training takes place on a river beach not far from the main fires area, there kittens learn from the elders how to be homemakers or hunters.. some special kitten may be taken under wing to become a healer or shamaness..
The forrest is currently in:
Winter, A time of festivals and cerimonies.. hunting is most important.

((*squees happily* I have got to find someone wiling to RP in here with me... ))
Elspeth crouches on the river beach, tail lashing the air as she watches the antics of a large insect. Longign to catch and play with the bug, she pounces, only to have it get away. The cloud spotted kitten began to mewl piteously at the loss of her tiny prey.

((I'll RP with you if that's alright, nobody seems to be RPing Meeka. ^^))
The kittens cries seemed not to have gone unnoticed, there was a rustling nearby before Meeka, Head Homemaker of the clan, stepped out to meet the kitten with a warm smile. "What seems to be the matter young one?" She asked curiously, having not seen the tried and failed attempt to catch the insect. Her reasons for being out this way at this time were simply that she had decided to take a relaxing walk, although she loved baking she did have to take a break every now and again.

Elspeth sniffled and looked up at Meeka. In a soft whisper, she said, "Me buggie flew away!"
The spotted kitten sniffled again and then drew a fist over her eyes to rub the tears away. Then, in a sudden change of mood, she smiled and hurried over to Meeka, hugging the adult's knees.
"You help me catch a buggie, Meeka?"

Meeka bent down slightly, carefully moving the kitten's paws from her knees, so that she could be on eye level with her, giving a smile as she placed a paw gently on her head. "I'll see what I can do." She replied before glancing around them, silently looking for another insect that the young one might like the look of. Finally, she saw a rather large dragonfly perched on the leaf of a nearby bush. "Over there." She whispered, pointing it out slowly so as not to make any sudden movements that would frighten the thing away.

Elspeth let her eyes follow in the direction Meeka pointed and soon saw the dragonfly. She smiled and following Meeka's example, moved slowly until she was in place to pounce. Then, with kittenish clumsiness, attacked the shimmering insect, managing to trap it beneath a paw. Giggling with delight, the youngster carried her treasure to show Meeka.

Meeka stood and smiled, watching the kittens succesful, if rather clumsy, trapping of the dragonfly, the prize then brought back to her to be shown off. Meeka carefully took the insect from the young Elspeth, doing her best not to damage it at all, as she peered through slightly closed paws at it. "Now, see if you can catch it again okay? If you can't we'll find another." She said qietly to the kitten, holding her paws ready to release the dragonfly.

Elspeth gave nod and readied her muscles for another pounce. As she stood at the ready, she titled her head and a thoughtful expresion crossed her mottled face.
"Meeka, what makes the bug go? 'S not the wings.. I've seen bugs without 'em.. So what makes it work? I wanna know."

Meeka was ready to release the bug when she was suddenly posed a question by the young cougar. "You're right, not all of them have wings." Meeka replied with a smile, moving her paws forwards so that she would be able to look inside and see the bug still moving. "They move because they're alive."

Keaira crawled quietly into the center of a stand of huge trees and looked up. Mewling softly to herself she stared and thought *how do I get up there, there is home, food, cougars*
sighing quietly she began to study the trees and branches. However, she quickly tired of this study and curled into a ball and fell promptly asleep.

Rayna frowned. "Is mama alive? 'S that why she went?" Even in her heart Rayna know that was a truely dumb question. She gave out a depressing sigh. "Where is mama......" She said quietly.

Keaira wakes slowly and gives one last longing look at the canopy. Then wandering off she begins to randomly pluck flowers from branches and pretty plants. Soon she has an entire bouqet collected in her two little paws. Grinning wickedly she quickly sits in the dirt and begins to arrange them on size, then shape, and then color. The pretty flowers keep Keaira enthralled for hours.
