{M}y {E}veryday {N}orm...♥ . . . Mercury is very casual. If you can manage to get him into a uniform of any kind he'll find some way to make it casual--A few buttons undone, no tie, untucked, bracelets, rolled-up sleeves, bandannas, earrings, even maybe some eyeliner.
In normal clothes, he could have on almost anything. Tight pants are fine, as are loose, baggy ones. Mostly it depended on how he matched. Mercury loved to match. Even if it were matching in a completely unmatching sort of way! Comfortable is how he styled, above all. If it wasn't comfortable, he'd make it so.
His hair changed with his mood. As it is long in the back and short in the front he can do all kinds of things with it~! Usually he'll have it down in a "bed head"-ish style. Sometimes he'll have it in a ponytail and sometimes he likes to put it in pigtails. ;P
His face is often seen with an easy smile or a little tongue poking out.

{O}n a {G}ood {D}ay...♥ . . . Mercury is extremely light spirited. Nothing can get him down! ...Well, almost. He can find the silver lining in everything. Everything Optimism is his middle name, Cheery is his last, and Happy ought to be his first. Everyday is a good day.
{O}n a {B}ad {D}ay...♥ . . . When the rarity occurs, Mercury will curl into a little ball of woe and self pity and will not come back out until something amazing happens.
{O}nce {U}pon a {T}ime...♥ . . .
{I}'mma {S}mack you {W}it '{D}is...♥ . . . Uhm... Whatever happens to be in his hand? He hasn't got a weapon other than his Ka given gift.
{E}mpty my {P}ockets...♥ . . . Mercury will typically have magical pockets. :D Full of most anything you desire. Gum, mints, notes, game boy, MP3 player, batteries, lamps.
{M}y {A}mazing {S}killage...♥ . . . Being a wizard where he grew up, one was advised to choose a specific skill to study with all your might. Much like a career for a human. He knows other simple spells, such as minor healing, lock picking, etc... but what he chose to study was gravity. Mercury can control the gravity around any given area--to a certain extent. He cannot concentrate enough gravity in one given area to crush a human being completely.
In ordinary life he uses his skills to levitate things and help him carry heavy objects by decreasing the gravity around the object. Therefore he can lift extraordinarily heavy things with one finger.
In combat, he can easily slow even the fastest opponents by increasing the gravity around him. He can float and hover, though not very quickly, and strike from above.
{M}y {P}oor {H}eel...♥ . . . Making things exceptionally light or heavy to an extent can take quite a lot out of him. For instance; if he made a bulldozer weight three pounds, that would take some effort. Or if he made a strong-legged human unable to stand because of the weight of the air.
Also, as he never really is required to lift anything more than twenty pounds, he is really very ever so weak. :'D
