Character Name: Evana Moonsword
Age: 115 in her current life cycle. She’s already been through two, which averaged just under a thousand years each.
Bio: Evana’s birthplace has been lost in the mists of her memory. All she really remembers about their home roost is that there were a lot of Blue Phoenix there, and that she had a sister. Eventually, she figures she must have gotten bored. The world beyond her…mountain? She thinks it was a mountain…called to her. And so, off she went. From what she can recall, it must have been sometime in the beginning of her second life cycle.

She intended to go back, honestly she did! But things were just so fascinating, and everything was so new, and before she knew it she’d been in the outside world so long that she couldn’t remember how to get home. So, lost and a little lonely, she traveled onwards. It was in that vulnerable time that she ran into Corsik, the Rogue vampire that eventually became friend and lover. Maybe if she’d thought to warn him that her cycle was approaching its end, they’d still be traveling together.

But she hadn’t. And so she’d exploded into flame, and when her eyes had opened, she was lying among the ashes. Entirely alone. Hurt and angry, and more than a little confused, she’d decided that it had freaked him out enough that he’d taken off. So she had done exactly the same. Now she kind of regrets it, but not enough to go looking for him. He was the one who abandoned her first, after all. If he wants to make amends, he’ll have to do the legwork.
Persona: Evana’s is a naturally feisty and passionate soul. Though she’s quite small, both as a human and as a phoenix, she’s been known to take on people many times her stature and power. She tends to remain neutral in conflicts among her friends – at least openly. Inwardly, of course, she has a definite opinion and just doesn’t want to hurt people’s feelings. When it comes to something she’s naturally strongly opinionated about, she tends to get incredibly excitable in discussions about it. She’s generally very sweet and affectionate to those she cares about, when she’s not being stubborn and mildly passive-aggressive, anyway. Although Evana does have a temper, it tends to show itself more in her sharp tongue and inability to tolerate fools than in any physical display of aggression. She also tends to be very determined to achieve her goals – almost to the point of single-mindedness.
Weapons/Spells: Evana does, of course, possess all the magic naturally allotted to her kind. She just doesn’t do much with it. She could if she tried. She just doesn’t.
Mission in Life: To have fun, not to get too angry over things she can’t change, and maybe…just maybe…to see Corsik again.
Quirks: Evana tends to make large, sweeping gestures with her hands when she’s demonstrating a point – almost as though she thinks she still has wings in her human shape. It’s quite noticeably the same movement that a bird would make as they took to the air.
Any Factions or Subfactions She Likes? Why?: Evana likes magic-users of most every type and stripe, except Dragons. She also likes vampires. Or, one specific vampire.
Any She Hates? Why?: She doesn’t like Dragons, and Head Hunters worry her.

Character Name: Elliot "Whiteflame" Whiteshields
Subfaction: White
Age: 24,561
Bio: Elliot was born in the family of a top commanding officer within the White Phoenix ranks. Life was difficult from the start. His mother had really and truely passed away after a family uprising when her sister killed her shortly after his birth. His dear old aunty has since been imprisoned. Without a worrisome mother to tell his father when he was being too harsh or expecting too much, Elliot immediatly was forced into the life of his father. Training, rules, and restrictions abound. Like any child, all he wanted was to make his father proud, so he followed these teachings to the best of his abilities and then some. Naturally, since he was trained from such a young age, he was one of the most loyal and gifted White Phoenix of his kind and was quickly placed into the higher ranks. And naturally, since he had been denied any form of childhood, he turned cold.

Cold or not though, he soon found that if he wanted to ascend the ranks beyond power and skill, then he would need to be charasmatic. After careful observation of the more cheerful Phoenix around him, he learned to imitate their behavior. It was simple enough. You were to smile, make jokes, laugh at other people's jokes, chat cheerily, and give people you deemed friends nicknames. Easy. And for him, pretending to be like that was. He even began to add in his own quirks, like speech patterns and developed a klutzy nature outside of battle to add to his believability.

Because of how easy it was to trust him after this 'change' in character, Elliot was deemed perfect for a new mission. He was to find Alex, a disowned and oddly colored Phoenix, and find out what he had been doing. More specifically, he was to judge if Alex had been spilling any of their secrets. He was allowed to gain this information by any means. Beings more or less expert at itwhen compared to other methods, like torture and the like, he's chosen to use deception. Alex just got a new little brother.
Persona: Outside, Elliot appears to be cheerful and happy and an all-around good guy. It's a well crafted persona and one that is exceptionally hard to break, since he practically has it super-glued to his face. Beneath the skin though, he is cold. His personality is almost the lack-there-of one. He watches things around him and calculates what his next move ought to be. Truthfully, his inner self is almost more reminiscent of a computer than a person.
Weapons/Spells: Outside of his Phoenix form, he is adept at swordplay of many kinds and has a fairly good hand for archery. He doesn't, however, usually keep a bow on him. Instead, he carries around a sword. His Phoenix form, meanwhile, is fairly obvious.
Mission in Life: To be honest, he doesn't quite have one. His upbringing has lead to him doing whatever he is assigned for the sake of order, not because of any enjoyment he gets out of anything.
Quirks: He is an excellant judge of liars, being that he is such a big one himself. His clumsiness occasionally slips into his battle moves out of habit, much to his chagrin.
Any Factions or Subfactions He Likes? Why?: He follows what the White Phoenix believe, simply enough.
Any He Hates? Why?: Again, he follows the beliefs of his subfaction, though he does have his own feelings of hate for Head Hunters after what could have been a nasty run-in with one.

Character Name: Rahsjahnae (Raz, left) and Rajmeanara (Raj, right) Toukirn, although they are more commonly known as Queenie’s Doublemints One and Two.
Subfaction: White
Age: 879
Bio: Rajmeanara doesn’t tend to think too much about the past – too busy living in the present. If you want to know about their lives, she is not the one to ask. However, if you went to Rahsjahnae in an attempt to find out more about their past, she would easily be able to list off every regret she has and every single thing she would have done differently if she could go back, knowing what she knows now. Top of the list? If she could go back and start again, she would have gone to that meeting and made Raj go too, rather than blowing it off. Together, she thinks, they might have been able to shut up their leader before she burned all her bridges. On the other hand, hindsight is 20/20, and she knows that once Queenie had built up a head of steam, it would have been hard to stop her.

The life they had before that was…normal. So normal as to be mostly boring. Normal parents, normal day-in-day-out lifestyle – perhaps they were a little on the pampered and petted side, but it wasn’t too out of the ordinary, considering they were the only children their parents had or ever could have. They both ended up as Queenie’s groupies somehow – just groupies back then; this was before they became the ‘Doublemints’. Out of boredom, curiosity, fascination? Raz has never really been able to say. It was okay. There were no great highs or great lows. It just…was.

After that meeting, however, when Queenie ran and took them with her, things changed. Now Raz hardly recognizes either herself or her sister, and she’s not really sure what to think about that.
Persona: Rajmeanara is the stereotypical queen bee’s second-in-command – cool, cruel, and generally a b***h. She’s a very dominant personality, and even though she clearly defers to Queenie, she still manages to make herself felt. Sarcastic, seductive and eager to bring others down in any way she can, Raj has a tongue as sharp as her blade and it’s a rare person indeed that she blunts it for. She’s as racist and hateful as her leader, and seems to take positive joy in breaking someone down until they cry. On the other hand, she has a much cooler head than Queenie, and sometimes even takes the time to think through consequences. Not often, but sometimes. She goes through lovers like sex is going out of style, taking the ‘love ‘em and leave ‘em’ philosophy very seriously, and has left a trail of men feeling used and abused in her wake.

Rahsjahnae is definitely the milder of the twins – trouble is, she’s very malleable and easily shapes herself to fit with whatever company she’s in. However, she’s possibly the only one of the trio who does not fit easily into the stereotypes, and in fact has much more depth than she lets others realize. It takes some time and trouble, but if you can get her away from her sister and Queenie, she proves to be rather gentle and surprisingly intelligent and scholarly, with occasional flashes of a wry sense of humour. Definitely at the bottom of the pecking order, Raz has very little say in what the other two do, and is normally just dragged along for the ride. She’s also the most innocent of the three of them, being more protective of her body and her heart – although no one who judged her clothing or her behaviour around the others would believe it. Naturally soft-spoken and quieter than Raj, Raz tends to just watch her sister and Queenie verbally tear people to pieces, rather than participate. Thus, she is often the one that the victim looks to for help, but they might as well not bother; Raz is not going to step up for them. Not if it means going against the other two.
Weapons/Spells: Rahsjahnae handles the flames of the Phoenix with an ease that is almost eerie, even considering that it is her birthright. She has also been dipping into the more esoteric areas of Phoenix magic, learning and practicing spells that some – many – consider better left alone. Rajmeanara scorns her sister’s interest in magic, preferring her blade – too long and slim to be called a proper sword, but very effective nonetheless. She tends to use her Phoenix form more for intimidation than for the power it affords her. In simple terms, Raz is the witch and Raj is the warrior, and between them they just about manage to protect themselves and Queenie from the many, many people who hate them.
Mission in Life: Ostensibly to get whatever they want, and to make life hell for everyone else. For Raj, this is pretty much true. Raz, however, has another dream – she wants to eventually learn all the Phoenix magic that most of their kind has forgotten. This, of course, has never been shared with either Raj or Queenie – Raz knows they wouldn’t understand.
Quirks: Don’t let the picture – or their behaviour in public – fool you. They may be twins, they may have shared a womb as well as a family, but if it wasn’t for Queenie, Raz and Raj wouldn’t even be on speaking terms. Raj hates her sister’s chameleon-esque personality, Raz can’t stand her twin’s dominating behaviour and each of them constantly looks for ways to one-up the other, but when they or their queen bee are in trouble, they band together to destroy the threat.
Any Factions or Subfactions They Like? Why?: Neither would dream of liking a faction without Queenie’s consent – at least, not out loud. Secretly, Raz has a quiet interest in the Elementalists, and is more curious than she would ever admit about Dragons.
Any They Hate? Why?: Openly, everyone, unless Queenie tells them otherwise. This seems sincere for Raj, although Raz’s real feelings towards other factions are a lot more flexible.
Phoenix Appearance: They may look similar in their human shape, but they more than make up for it in their phoenix forms – Raz and Raj are impossible to mistake for one another in their true shapes.
Pets: None – they’re pretty much Queenie’s pets.

Other: Raz has recently begun to emotionally drift away from the other two, though Raj has certainly not noticed. An utter severing of loyalties is unlikely, however, considering the circumstances.

Character Name: Valiance Attero
Subfaction: Black
Age: 425
Bio: Valiance is a very secretive Phoenix, even among those of the Black Subfaction. For many years...decades...centuries he's kept himself occupied with his magic and potion studies, keeping himself locked away from virtually anybody else.
Persona: Very reclusive and introverted. Valiance will only make appearances outside if he requires something for his spells and potions (or if he feels like a good drink). Not many people have seen him but those who have note that he is generally emotionless and usually doesn't care about something if it doesn't involve him. He captures creatures for experimentation or for potion ingredients. However he's never captured a fellow Phoenix.
Weapons/Spells: He has a long sword but rarely uses it. He knows many spells, but mainly uses fire and darkness spells to attack. He is adept at potions and can use them any time he has them. Valiance is a poisons expert as well.
Mission in Life: To obtain the perfect spells and potions, then perhaps use them to take over.
Quirks: He enjoys an occasional drink and will go out for one, usually when there aren't that many people around. Valiance never speaks first in a conversation unless seeking information...if he decides to even speak to the person.
Any Factions or Subfactions He Likes? Why?: Any that can help him with his work. Otherwise, none in particular.
Any He Hates? Why?: None in particular as well, though he does hate anyone whom he deems is the way of his goal.
