Appearance: Tau stands 5’ 11” with semi-long silver hair with his bangs a deep jet black, appearing to be in one's prime years. He wears a black all weather trench coat, opened, revealing a white under shirt with an unique design on the front of it, a sort of Coat of Arms, tucked into his black cargo pants and a pistol belt with several pouches for his travels. Around his neck is a pair of goggles that, when worn, form a silver mask with a falling star pattern around the cheeks and a river like pattern running up the front of the face. The mask fits around his face, allowing his bangs to come over the top of his mask. On his right wrist is a cone like bracelet that fits snugly around his wrist, allowing full movement and comfort.
Personality: Tau is a care free person, nothing really gets to him and he is always ready to protect the ones he cares about. The old one has recently have taken up a slight drinking problem, which only makes him more friendly towards everyone, its not uncommon to see him on a mission with a beer can or bottle of something. He does have a bit of dark side in which he is relentless, ruthless, cunning and uncaring for anyone's well being unless it benefits himself. This also make Tau, normally, seem more withdrawn from his friends and could explain a few things about him, including the drinking.
Weapons:
-Sol Edge: This is Tau's signature weapon. The sword has a continues fission reaction within the blade itself, giving the appearance of a sun molded into a sword. The handle is made with a specific element that protects against this fission and allowing a cool, comfortable grip. The sheath wrap is made of the same element and when wrapped, gives the sword a weightless feel and harmless appearance.
-Crystalite Orb: The contraption on Tau’s wrist is in reality his main weapon. Upon activation, a sphere made of a liquid crystal forms around his hand, encasing it and enhancing his magic and psionic abilities. He can form the sphere into a small arm blade of any shape at will as well as have for control and aim with his powers. When using powers that take time, the sphere will begin to glow as it collects arcane and psionic energy for the ability.
-White Dwarf Axe: This axe is normally wrapped in a black silk binding for its own good. Even with the bindings, its can still cut a tree in half without breaking a thread of the bindings. When unleashed, the axe glows a pure white and becomes a thousand times heavier then what it normally is, with the black bindings hanging off the hilt. Tau can barely move the axe once unleashed, but when he does, he grabs it by the bindings and spins it over his head at a very rapid speed, making both a shield and a powerful attack. Over time being unleashed to any sort of matter, the axe can collapse upon itself and create a Black Hole, becoming a danger for everything in the area.
-Old Ironside: This is a medium size, heavy machine gun meant to arm one person and doubles up for turret defense. It fires a standard 50mm shell with a continuing firing rate of roughly 10,000 rounds per minute, with the feed chain in a specially designed drum that can carry up to 750,000 rounds, slung on the back. The barrel is 2m in length made of pure iron, to prevent melting upon overheating. The main body is 1m in length with three different grips on it to provide different handling depending on the situation, it is also designed to provide a cooling system with each round fired, keeping the operator comfortable. The weapon weighs about 75lbs unloaded and close to 200lbs with the ammunition case.
Abilities:
Teleportation: Tau has a mastery of short range teleportation to a limit. He can make short, 10ft jumps from place to place, making some of his movements tactical and sneaky at the same time. One of his abilities he can perform with his teleportation is My Wake, this ability allows Tau to jaunt from one spot to another within his line of sight roughly 15-20m. At his will, he can let loose a burst of astral matter when he finishes his teleportation, making a burst of energy towards enemies. This ability can become taxing on Tau and he knows how to use it in moderation.
Psionics: This is the art of the mind. Some of Tau’s most powerful and dangerous abilities come from his mental power. It ranges from simple telepathy and levitation to making short range portals, swarms of crystal shards and implanting unthinkable images into the minds of his enemies. His strongest ability of his psionics is Geneses: Tau can create his own plane of existence almost at the cost of his own life, it is normally a last ditch effort for salvation from impending doom for himself and allies around him. Tau can also use this ability in reverse and make a dead zone 100m in diameter, killing all plant life and nullifying any energy sources. While using Geneses in this way, it isn’t as taxing as its true ability but it will make Tau weak for an extend period of time.
Cosmos Magic: Tau is able to cast spells of the cosmos. He can create miniature stars at will for energy sources, hurl meteors and comets, and apply these spells to himself for his Cosmatic Armor.
Cosmatic Armor: This is Tau’s strongest power. He can create an armor using the cosmos at will. There are 5 different levels of this armor.
-Level 1 is a nebula formed around him, mostly toward his back like a cape, giving better jumping capabilities and making him lighter than normal, this version takes little effort to create.
-Level 2 is bits a of solar flares around the ends of his clothing, giving his attacks a bit of a heated boost as well as making him a bit stronger, it takes more to sustain this form of the armor, making him unable to use his psionics.
-Level 3 is where the cosmos begins to form a light breast plate upon his chest with a cape of star dust, making him more durable to attacks and can deal more damage with his attacks as well as near flight capabilities, this ability also requires the help of another to channel energy to Tau to sustain it.
-Level 4 is more of a nobleman’s armor, medium type armor with fore arm and shin guards as well as boots, all made of the cosmos. It takes the help of two people to sustain this armor due to how much energy it takes.
-Level 5 is a sort of finale that Tau can potentially reach. His armor takes the form of an angelic warrior, nebula like wings, an one handed great sword in his left hand made true ice, frozen at temperatures of -400 degrees and his Crystalite Orb blazing like the sun. His armor has him encased in all the elements of the universe is made of but allowing him to move freely. His attacks are more potent and very strong. Attacks made against him do little against him while making rippling wakes of cosmos energy that can be used as a counter attack. Only a great power source can grant Tau access to this armor. Upon the completion of this form, Tau can expend what is left of his armor to unleash a Super Nova as a last resort attack.
-Level -1: This is when ever Tau goes into his dark moods, all parts of his armor flow with dark matter radiation as well as a mix of U.V. radiation. If in Level 4 or 5, he can turn his orb into a black hole and use it as his main weapon, he can also sacrifice his armor to feed the black hole to fire a high powered beam of all energy and leave Tau weak upon firing the beam.
Cosmatic Armor, Final Form: This is the final form of Tau’s Cosmatic Armor. With this last version of this armor, any and all debris within the area immediately gains fission, becoming pebble sized stars, and begins to float around Tau, forming a mock galaxy around his body. Tau can use each of the five arms of this galaxy to attack and defend himself and with the spiral motion, he can easily move through the air. Upon the end of the armor, Tau can pull every spec of fission dust and form very powerful cannon called a Quasar Cannon which can deliver a beam of pure energy at more then 5 times the speed of light. The amount of energy needed to use this form is not known nor is this form known to Tau, it would most likely take the interventions of the gods themselves before Tau can ever begin to fathom this Final Form.
Dying Memories: This syndrome allows Tau to recover from almost fatal wounds at five times the normal healing process but not without a devastating cost. This faster pace of healing devours Tau’s memories whenever his body is faced with a death like situations; it is even possible that this curse has saved his life many times before.
Mind Synergy: Tau can help build up the mental defense of his allies as well as their will to resist, will to fight and the will to press forward. This ability is passive and the effects last depending who and what each person is faced against.
Dark Mood: Tau has a dark side that he is unaware of. His attacks become more savage and ruthless and his composure and way of thinking become more harsh and heartless. When fighting, his orb turns a thick black, as though light would fall into it and more symbiotic in nature. When he speaks, his words are more spun in intelligent thoughts of deceit and betrayal; his speaks more cunning and could even make the best of friends become bitter enemies that will fight to the death. He also uses his psionics to add more influence to his words, not to control, but to make the person see his point of view and act accordingly.
Bio (PreSOTH): Tau used to live on a world that created other worlds. He over saw creation of different worlds, built to work in different ways, but he never messed with the evolution of the heart. After about a good solid work of about a thousand and some years of world creation, his views changed drastically and he has been living "on the road" for a good while now. He has lived for over 5 million years before coming to Travers Town.
Bio (SOTH I): Tau had woken up from a deep slumber that his world was put under many millions of years ago. He was looking for a key blade warrior, a man he had heard about for his travels in the new universe, Zife. He set out to find Zife to ask for his help to seal the core of his world so that the darkness would not find the secrets to create worlds. But he was caught up with helping Zife first to destroy monstrous behemoths created by an organization that Zife and his friends had ran into in the past. During one of the encounters, Tau's dark past came back to haunt him. His brother came to him in his mind to take over his body. In a struggle within his head, he defeated his brother, but the damage had been done. Zife killed Tau's body, but before it happened, Tau sealed his mind and soul away so that he may fix the damage he had done. Tau did come back, his spirit, lost and without reason, came across a group of youngsters, one of them by the name of Maki. He traveled with them for a short while, trying to find out who and what he was in his spirit form. He eventually ran into Zife and due to a connection from when he was killed by Zife, he was reborn by Zife's power. He followed Zife for a short time before he split up and went his own ways for a time, regaining his powers back. He came back to the Chasers after he lost himself again and helped in the retrieval of many keys, including the Oblivion Key. During the final battle, Tau lost his life again in a confrontation with his brother. He pored all of his energy into the battle. The final blow was dealt by both family members, and Tau vowed that he would find a way to help his friends even after it was his time.
Bio (Current): Tau has been through a lot in his life. This has been his second rebirth and it has made him realize something about the universe, it will always need guardians. The last few decades (or by time contrast in the Astral Seas) Tau has made his home in the Astral Sea, an expanse of space that is closely tied with the Astral Plane, living abroad the floating islands of reality. Since the lost of his home world, he has had many views on life and the people he has met, but he has began to become withdrawn from everyone he knows, he feels as though that someday he may turn on them. This precaution is, in his mind, for the better. Tau has wandered the universe several times in the past years to find himself. It was with a group of chosen people that he had begun to see the difference that it has affected him so that he was killed twice. His third rebirth was unlike the others, he awoke in the Astral Sea, feeling empty on the inside, the knowledge that he is the last of his kind. He has been training himself in the Astral Seas so he will never fall again. He will once again return to his friends and fight beside them to preserve the universe. Tau has been known to go out on a limb to make his point heard and that he will gladly support his friends. Some how, he has floated from the Astral Seas to Destiny Islands after being ambushed by creatures called Ilithids.
