Since I've been gone, I've been studying more than usual. My Japanese is improving, so at least that's good. I was thinking about putting up basic Japanese lessong in the guild before I got banned. We'll see.....

My husband is studying Japanese. I was going to, but laziness prevailed. He bought CDs for pronunciation and wrote his own Nintendo DS program to study vocab and kanji.

fun... (do you have an extra copy of the nds program... it sounds cool, and does it work for some one who has no clue how to do anything in Japanese?)

Well, it's still a work in progress, and not something he was ever planning on giving out. It's just a flash card program, and you can get them for free for your PC if you want.

So, is there anyone who would be apposed to chatting over a program like skype?
I'm still considering opening the teaching subforum so we can all teach things.
It's going to take a while to set up though, so be patient.

Yeah same here I would have to make an account the only messenger I ever use is AIM, but couldn't we use that new gaia im , that might work

gaia IM doesn't have voice capabilities, so we wouldn't be able to work on pronunciation. AIM does, but it kind of sucks. I figured since skype is free and only takes a few minutes to get, it would probably be our best bet.
