Just a bit of background story before I post about the characters. This is set in a world where people keep each other as pets. I know it's odd but logically we're the largest group of any animal on the planet so why not? These human pets are treated like any other household pet save the fact that they can speak English (or whatever the language of the region) and think more complexly.

Adrian: Gender: Male Sexuality: Gay Age: 31 Profession: Scientist/Cosmetic Surgeon Intro Excerpt: "-The tall and lanky man shoved his thick, round glasses up on his nose in annoyance. His lab coat was a dingy off-white from the many stains that had seen it in the past. Other than those two features he looked like most teenagers you'd see on the street, blue jeans and a black t-shirt that nearly matched his hair. "What the bloody hell are you staring at pet?" the British accent did little to mast the venom in his words and it was clear in that moment that he did not like Alex.-"
Sean: Gender: Male Sexuality: Bi Age: 26 Profession: Writer Intro Excerpt: "-It was an oddity to see someone with such a young face in the pound. Alone and on that side of the bars that is. His eyes, that's what made him look so young. A brilliant blue shining through the mass of twigs that he called hair. His casual clothing screamed 'emo' but the smile and general happiness radiating off of him where enough to dismiss that notion in his mind.-"
Arlin/Alex: Gender: Male Sexuality: Bi Age: 20 Profession: Pet Intro Excerpt: "-You had to admit he cleaned up rather well. His long red hair had been cut to just at his shoulders and after some work, had finally been straitened. The clothing looked alien on him, the dark pants obviously too big and the shirt a little too small. "I hate you all..." he growled.-"
Moon: Gender: Male Sexuality: Gay? Age: 17 Profession: Pet Intro Excerpt: "-Looking around the lab he saw two boys, identical in most ways. They both had beautiful long white hair and pale pink eyes. The one on the left had his hair tied back loosely and he wore a black shirt with a pale blue moon on the front and black pants.-"
Star: Gender: Male Sexuality: Bi Age: 17 Profession: Pet Intro Excerpt:"-The one on the right however had his hair hanging around his shoulders and wore all white with a dark orange star on his shirt."
Nayoko: Gender: Female Sexuality: Strait Age: 23 Profession: Pet Intro Excerpt: "-The cat-like girl laid on the pack bench as is it where normal to be nude in the middle of a public area. "Who're you and what do you want?" her demeanor was that of a stray and the simple bell tied around her neck didn't claim otherwise. "Stop staring and answer already foxy boy."-"

... I think you broke the 10% rule, and one girl? Come on, you can do better than that. And just sticking a butt-load of them in the background doesn't count.
Other than that? I don't know these people. Some analysis, please? Basic physical descriptions, yes, as well as an outline of how they behave and why would... well, it's what makes a character. I'm intrigued. I want to know more. But I don't, so... there's not much feedback I can give you.

Well yeah, but it's the writer's prerogative to focus on any group of characters they want, especially in alternative universe situations. I do agree that the characters need some fleshing out, though.
