I don't like gloves. They separate your fingers so only each individual can provide heat for itself. Mittens are much better, grouping the fingers together like that makes for 4 times the warmth. THINK ABOUT IT. And there's very little you can do with gloves on that you can't do with mittens on too, so there's really no reason the people at large should think gloves are better, is there?

I dunno, mittens allow an amazing range of motion as well. And it's hard to use fingers in gloves too.

Well, the thin thin knitted kind are easy to move in, but they don't provide much warmth at all. And usually, the fingers are either too long and you end up with floppy cloth on the ends getting in the way; or they're too short and you end up with that streatched space between your fingers and that definitly decreases mobility.
