most of know by now that there will be pikmin games coming sometime in the soon future (possibly pikmin 3 if that is the confirmed name of it). If you have any information, oppinions, or suggestions on pikmin games to come, then post'em here.

Pikmin Ds is still being discussed.
Also, for Wiiware, they're remaking Pikmin 1 and 2 with Wii Controls

They have confirmed Pikmin 3 but they are making the remakes first.
Someone told me that the DS is best and should be the only system to get Pikmin 3.I scoffed and said if they made a Pikmin game for the DS it should be played form the Pikmin's point of view.Now THAT would be cool.

shigeru miyamoto (spelling) announced Pikmin 3, and also wii remakes of the original two, however he didn't say what 3 will be for, although too be honest i can see it being for wii

Probably not me. I can wait.
I think Pikmin 3 would be for Wii, about Olimar's third return.
I also think that there should be a Pikmin Spin-off for the DS like Nugget, at the Pikmins Point of View. An origin story would be epic.

yeah there's little doubt in my mind that ther'll be some kind of ds game, but it'll probably be a different type of game, or with a new character/scenario

Gamecube died a long time ago.
If you can read this and understand it, give yourself over 10 points.
In Pikmin 1, Olimar crash lands on Distant Planet, and (probably) survives. In Pikmin 2, Olimar returns to help finance the President, and Louie gets lost. As for Pikmin 3, they could do a what if?. What if Olimar didn't make it, and

is a Pikmin? They can make a game off he survives. Or they can make a what if, if Louie wasn't found. They could make a game about Louie's survival. This game could be epic. Instead of collecting bodies for money/pikmin, he has to EAT them. The food can give him powers, or make spray? They could always make an origin story, but that could be hard to explain. They also could have a "race". Since they were on a trade route, other astronauts could of landed. They could of made "slaves" out of them, and Olimar could save them. THEN, lastly, they could make a game about a Dystopia. Meteors could of crushed they're land, and they have to survive. -phew-

I probably won't be able to play. I only have a PS3 and am not a big gamer, it's my bf's PS3 and he is not into Wii at all.
