I have to admit only about half of my tools were ever consecrated. The ones that I made by hand or found in nature and simply brought home with the intent to use them in ritual and magic were never consecrated, though most my store bought tools were cleansed or consecrated in some form or another. Usually in sage smoke, laid out under the full moon for a few hours, or held underwater in the rapids of a local river that I consider to be a very sacred spot. Anyhow would love to hear others opinions and methods.

I once had a rather large, and honestly rather cheap, quartz and opal necklace that I deemed my amulet. To charge it, I spoke with a few trees I was fond of until I found one that felt excited. I then sung a song that was meaningful to me while wrapping the chain cord around a branch. I put down some symbols that to me represented charging with energy, and I put these symbols in a box that I used for storing such tools. I kept this box with the symbols beneath the tree branch. I then gathered as much energy as I could, charged with the intent of collecting, and I gave it to the stones there. Overnight, we had a fierce thunderstorm. When I retrieved my amulet, it was still there, and it was vibrating like never before, and I used it in all my work until I lost in one day sad Every now and then, I would wait for a light rain, and I would return the necklace to the same branch with the intent of radiating clarity and tranquility.
