Anyone follow the horoscopes? I don't read mine too often, but I do know a bit about the different horoscopes. I'm a Capricorn, so my element is Earth. My sister is Pisces, the fish, so her element is Water. I wonder, sometimes, if our horoscopic elements actually coincide with elements that we are attracted to, use, etc. My sister's element is Water, and man is she ever a good swimmer. She's a fish in water, I swear. My favourite element has always been Earth, and I always have loved nature. Is this because my element is Earth?
Anyone else find similarities between your horoscopic element and elements you use or are attracted to?
Another thought that I would like to mention, is that the horoscopic elemts are also supposed to represent aspects of a person's personality. Water flows, Earth is stable, Fire sparks, and Air is everywhere, bouncing around. Anyone find that their element represents them in a way like that? (I'm sure there are other properties of elements that can fit a personality)

I'm a Gemini, so my element is supposed to be air. While I am far from being a social butterfly, I hold true to valuing intelligence and communcation above most else. I find that the element air does a pretty good job of representing me. It is my strongest element, yet strangely, my favorite to work with is earth (stone more specifically). I guess it's human to be attracted to what fills the void.
It seems a strange notion to think that our date of birth influences us, but I also wonder, maybe we decided when to be born too, so maybe this elemental influence already existed within us before conception.

I don't catch my day to day horoscopes, but indefinitely follow the Eastern Zodiac.
I myself am a Libra, and an air sign.
I do exhibit a "great" deal of air relative traits; as well maintain a very close definition of being a Libra. At the same time though, I seem to exhibit a few traits that are very pertinent to other elements.
I guess in a more physical sense, I am a musician. Particularly guitar, but I do have quite the powerful and long winded singing voice (as an example).
It is my favorite of the elements, but I wouldn't say that I am necessarily drawn to it as I might be to another?
Seems like something I need to think on. :

Well, I is a Leo, which makes me a fire sign. I think that the only thing I really have in common with fire is a temper and arguementative tone...other than that I like to stare at it razz I'm not really sure how fire can otherwise pertain to my life. It's not like water, which you can swim in, or earth, which you can be the nature lover for. I certainly can't say that I have any love for fire though, so I would guess that my sign doesn't really match me in this sense.
I've always thought I would be associated with water, it's been my favorite of the elements through and through, so this has been kind of a fun topic to research, thanks!

I am a Pisces, so its water for me. The elements I do best with are water and earth. I seem to fit my description fairly well especially the deeper I go into the moon signs, rising signs, planertary houses ect. Actually I started out with an interest in astrology which led into the occult stuff later. I don't read the daily things though.

I am Scorpio, so I am a water element. However, I draw most of my energy from Fire and need fire to concentrate while spellcasting. So I would say may craft element is Fire. like most Scorps I am often conflicted and always fighting not to douse my own majic. Opps! But I get a lot of help from my more even tempered Pieces friend.
PS More Fire, it's pretty! biggrin
