I think it would be kind of neat to see a thread pertaining to the way of life surrounding the topics discussed here. More so with the mythologies/theologies than some of the more spiritual stuff. For instance, discussion about life as it was in ancient Greece and Rome when the gods and titans, or even mortal people, mentioned were, in every meaning, alive and well. Discussion of whether there is merit or validity to the ancient epic tales, whether people had more faith in their beliefs than they do today, and whether they had reason to. I don't know, I'm still workin out the kinks in my head, just kind of an off the top of my head thing, but definitely a topic that would interest me. blaugh

An interesting idea! And definitely, any story ever written would have themes and ideas that related to the times, so we might find out interesting things about the people that relate to the myth/story! I've always liked that kind of history, myself. All the political stuff, not a fan of, but ancient and medieval civilization, how they lived, what they believed, etc. - always been a fan of that kind of thing. That would be so neat! Good idea!
