One of my friends at school started reading New Moon sometime last week. She hasn't read twilight yet, because at the book fair we had at school, they had all the twilight series, but when we went in there, they were out of it. So she bought New Moon. Today at school, i asked her what she thought of the book so far (She's only in the 190's) and she said
"Well, Jacob is sweet for being nice to Bella, and I want to push Edward off a bridge."
...
I burst out laughing
She looked at me weird
She said, "What?"
I said, "You are the first person i have EVER heard say that!"
She says,"But he deserves it for leaving Bella!!!"
I laughed more
She gave me another weird look
I just said, "Just finish the book"
I felt like sharing that biggrin
Plus, i wonder, has anyone else said something like that? If so, post here biggrin

She won't understand until she reads Twilight blaugh I never said I hated or disliked Edward, but he could be a little bit more passionate about what he wants sometimes rather than always doing what is supposedly "right"

Kawaii Froot Lol XD My friends hate Jacob for what he did in Breaking Dawn... XD You know.. at first I hated it too, but now I'm kind of thinking that what he did will turn out better for him, you know? At least now he doesn't have to suffer anymore. But when I FIRST read it, I thought about putting the book down and never reading the rest of it, and that's the ONLY time the series has taken me by complete surprise and shock like that!

Though he deserves to be pushed off a bridge for ditching Bella emo
Making your girlfriend miserable =/= good move.
Honestly though, I wish Edward'd never left Bella because Bella moped for several months .__.
It was annoying to read about her "omg omg i can't live w/o edward D:" attitude.
& that's why I despise New Moon the most [note that I haven't read BD yet] :/

Your friend is kind of like me. Because the Twilight saga was out at my library i waitted for months to get it. And the first one i got was New Moon and then Eclipse. And i hated Edward Cullen because he was such a little bludger. Because he left, and demands to marry her, and she says yes. And he was such a horrid person to Jacob.
And then i finally got tired of waiting so i bought Twilight, and all i heard was I'm too dangerous, No i love you more, I'm sorry.
Twilight was the only book from the saga i owned so i just kept re-reading it (for those few pages of Jacob).
But after awhile i became Team Switzerland because i got used to Edward.
After awhile i got tired of obsessing about Twilight by myself, so i made my own Twilighter/Fanpire. So i gave her my copy of Twilight, and she loved Edward. So i became Team Edward because that's all we talked about.

the first part of the secries I read was the first chapter of new moon (I borrowed the book during a free period of a friend who was booring a book from her friend) then I read twilight loved it highed New moon read it I lived it now im weighting very unpationly for next week so I can read eclips (I think it might be better to just buy the books becorse now I want to read twilight and eclips right now.) I just love it, Edward was stupet there thow . rolleyes

& that's why I despise New Moon the most [note that I haven't read BD yet] :/ i see how you would think that but my feelings were sort of the opposite. i mean im definitely team edward and i hated that he left but i was mad at bella when she started to be happy again. the first time i read it i wanted her to be miserable until he came back. but now that ive read it again ive kind of accepted it and im ok with her being happier.

i was never really mad at edward for leaving. [i can understand why he left now that ive read more about it] i hated jacob the first time i read through the series. i dont hate him anymore, i can understand more now that he really didnt do anything wrong. i mean there are still a few things i wish he hadnt done but overall he didnt have bad intentions or anything.
anyway, ive only had one friend [that i know of] who was actually mad at edward for leaving which surprised me because id never heard anyone say that before..
