So it turns out my Fiancee who has really bad shin splints is now being checked out for stress fractures... She says her legs have been really killing her recently and finally decided to go to medical. They checked her shins and sent her to get a bone scan. I'm really worried... she's already been held for two extra weeks and this could hold her in BMT even longer...

If she has stress fractures or something that will take time to heal, is it possible for her to come home to heal instead? I read somewhere about getting permission to... If she has to heal for awhile she'll have to repeat BMT anyway...

Yeah... she's going in for her bone scan on the 21st. We'll find out then... though it sounds like she won't finish basic in time to be able to come home for Christmas...
