Right around the corner. XD This house has a working oven and central heating. Our old house didn't have a working stove, the swamp cooler kept breaking, and we STILL had to pay rent! It's illegal to have someone pay rent if something's broken at the house.

Well...if I'm right, my grandma told my mom that she looked over some laws about renting the house and it was something like, "...if something is broken and the person that we're renting the house from wants US to fix it (even though it's still technically his house) we son't have to pay rent." I'm probably wrong, though. Either way, we still paid rent. 3nodding Also, the laws might be different where you live. I live in California and you live in the Texas/Louisiana/Mississippi area.
