Not everything in here can be purchased with just shells. Things like clothing and hair may be purchased with either gaia gold or shells.

Monkeys require a special chemical to actually grow hair (they can't naturally! How odd!). After it is grown (they look like a banshee, meanwhile) it is cut and styled by our most fabulous scientists. More to come as they get their cosmetology licences!

Sea Monkeys are a peculiar creature. They do not wear clothes out of shame or status, but merely as a way to decorate their self. Monkeys will sometimes forego clothes, or wear only a shirt or bottoms. Regular clothes cost a flat rate of 250g a clothing article, or 10 shells. To add a pattern is another 125g, or 5 shells. Custom clothing (non-Gaia items) can be ordered with the custom form.

Clothing can be layered.
