Something totally new happened to me recently, and at a completely unexpected time!
My job requires that I stare at a computer for 8 hours a time. Well while I was typing away and staring at a blue-screen backdrop, I saw a shape. At first, the shape looked like a bunch of arches, maybe three of them, and they were right in a row, so like the McDonald's sign but not so tall, a little wider, and an extra loop razz ---anyways--- I thought it was curious and I thought there was something wrong with my screen, so I start to examine these strange shapes and they happened to reveal themselves in much more detail, as I consequentially stop typing and stare off in near-paralysis.
The 3 loops turned into the tops of hay stacks that were aligned together on the ground. I looked over and saw a strange shack. (mind you, while all of this is happening, my eyes are wide open and I am still seeing the screen behind it) I look at the shack and it defines itself better. A window and a door form themselves, so I stare over at the door as I get yanked in to find a strange child or a short tribal-appearing person. Gravity seemed to be an illusion, for while I stood on the ground, another person floated in one window and out another as though lying down. It was trying to communicate with me, but I couldn't understand it. It started to get frustrated with me. There was also a very tall being standing with the person. It could have been a human, could have been an ostrich, I really didn't look over at it.
I don't know what it was - I don't know why it happened - and I can't help but wonder what I was supposed to get out of it. Usually these kinds of things happen in a certain mindset, but not this time.

That's strange. Though I've heard of things like time slips where you can see an event from the past or even be in that event from the past. It's weird that they tried communicating to you though. Seems they wither wanted to tell you something - there is something you must know - or they wanted you to do something. I haven't got a clue what, though. See if the vision reappears to you sometime, or maybe try and call it back somehow (I'm not very knowledgeable on how to make yourself see visions, though, if it's even possible)

You can make yourself see visions, but in such forceful visions, the credibility is usually brought into question. There are meditative states and accompanied visual techniques that one can use to make themselves more susceptible, but that is much different than making yourself.
I haven't seen it again surprisingly, although for some reason I have a harder time understanding what's going on with meditation. I haven't got a clue what said hypothetical message could be either. It all seemed so random.
