Has God ever suddenly woken something up inside of you? Whether it be something you've never realized the full extent of, something you've JUST realized, etc.? Has God ever hit you like a ton of bricks? Have you been *brick'd* by God lately?
This thread is for posting all those times, past and present, where God has *brick'd* you. From the simplest things to hardcore God moments- this is the place.
Post on, brick victims!

((First post on my own topic? XD I just had to LOL ))
This happened a while ago, but it just happened again, so... XD My best friend and I have been getting on each-others backs to read the Bible lately, so we decided to start in the book of John. This weekend we re-read in John 2 where Jesus turns the water in wine. And it said- normally we would take out the most expensive wine and once our guests have had too much, THEN we take out the cheap stuff.
But instead, Jesus saved the best for last.
We applied this to our daily living, and it hit us...
The point- When we've got problems, life will always seem the crappiest, but no matter how crappy life can be then, now, it's so much better in the end when we're further down the road. Because Jesus has saved the best for last.

Something hit me today. A while ago, I learned that Narnia was written about Christianity The Witch is the devil. Aslan is God. Aslan left, people lost faith in him, the Witch took over. Aslan comes back, the Witch is destroyed, everyone wins until they lose faith again. WELL: the only Narnia book I never read is the seventh, final book. In it, there's an ape and a donkey. The donkey wears a lion skin so people think he's Aslan. In Revelation, it says the Antichrist will declare himself to be God. So, I just figured out today --and it felt like someone hit me-- that that part is written to symbolize the Antichrist.

~Wow that's so cool about the wine! How cool! eek It's awesome!!!! >0<
I don't know if this counts, but recently God has smacked with some really great inspiration! I've had just a great time writing and drawing and making new songs. Before I had been working on a lot of unnessesary things (new years resolutions) and when I let them go I started thinking clearer, and I'm just so thankful for all the inspiration that God has given me! ~

It's so cool when he does that. I love it. God bricks me a lot with showing me his numbers in our everyday lives. Like 3 is the number of the trinity, and it's everywhere. Obviously in the Bible with things like 3 days between Christ's death and resurection and 3 patriarchs, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, but it's also all over the place in everyday life. Earth is the 3rd planet in the solar system, and it has 3 basic layers, the crust, mantle, and core. There are 3 trimesters in the development of an unborn child. There are 3 stars in orion's belt. The basic building block of everything, the atom, is broken into 3 sub-atomic particles, protons, neutrons, and electrons. Light is composed of 3 hues, and there are 3 primary and 3 secondary colors. 3-ring binders, and circuses. 3 strikes and you're out. Many flags have 3 colors to them. And there are 3s all over the place in mythology and other religions, like that 3 headed dog that guards hades. 3 also has this awesome property that a number is divisible by three if the sum of its digits is divisible by 3. Like 24 is divisible by 3 because 2+4=6, and 6 is divisible by 3. So 65217 is also divisible by 3 because 6+5+2+1+7=21, and 21 is divisible by 3.

This kind of hit me over the head today-
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jer. 29:11)
I've been kind of worried about the things around me lately, so time pretty much stopped when I saw this verse infront of me on the computer monitor. I needed to remember that God's still watching out for me and my life. God paves a path for each of us, going in the direction He sees fit, it's up to us to walk down it.
