This is a poem I have just made.
In the darkest hour,
When not one is awake,
In an empty little tower,
Evil takes its place,
Spreading throughout the land,
While the innocent are asleep,
When the sun comes out,
People begin to weep,
Some have died,
Some have changed,
Some have cried,
Some have stayed the same,
Nothing will be perfect again,
But the world will move on,

A shining light,
Lighting up our lives,
Making everything all right,
Giving us the gift of sight,
Seeing the beauty of the world,
Right within our reach,
So big yet so small,
It is a home to us all,
There may have been many bad times,
Yet this light always shines,
Allowing a future for our lives,
For a very long time,
Enjoy it while you can,
For one day the light might go out,
Appreciate what is there,
Have a reason to care.
