I was going to stop in and say that I use mostly use pendulums, but Mercy already said that. I also have an very impressive collection of tarot/ oracle
cards.

I often use the pendulum with a broad, like Psych Circle. It works for me, and I have seen it work for several other people.

Try a homemade one first. You can make a pendulum very simply out of of a string and a ring, a pendant or charm that holds personal sigificance. Lay out a sheet of paper with an equal armed cross drawn on it. designate the vertical line YES and the horizional line NO. Swing the pendulum along each line and say out loud this is for yes, this is for no. Now ask it some questions. Keep track of how accurate it is for you, and how you feel doing it.

If it works for you then try adding more lines for maybe, not right now, rephrasing. Still tracking your experience.

Then think about buying one. When you go to purchase them try to find someplace you can handle them. Pick up the ones that call you, then ask them yes or no if they will work for you or want to come home with you.

Some will be unresponsive. Some might just sit there and vibrate like crazy. But one or two should answer you, and you should be able to tell which one mixes with your personal energy best. Usually your birth stone will work well for you as will quartz (though it is prone ot just sitting and vibrating. They do make wood ones as well.

Like Kit mentioned we will use ours in conjunction with mats or with a Psychic Board of some kind.
