Did anybody else watch it & if so, how did you feel about it?

It seriously pissed me off; it was basically an hour-long advertisement for "happy" exploited animal products. Here's what I thought:

- The factory farms they showed were a lot better than the average factory farm.
- She said "this isn't about veg*nism, it's about making informed choices" 10 times. Sorry, but I don't condone theft, rape, or murder regardless if the perpetrator is making an "informed choice."
- "We should be thankful for what the animals sacrifice for us." Sacrifice implies consent, these animals don't have any choice.
- As I previously mentioned, they focused on "happy" farms more than the standard factory farms.

I didn't watch it myself, but after I read your topic, I went to look up stuff about it.

Geeze, those "factory farms" were not factory farms at all. That's not where most of the population gets their animal products from at all. I agree, too, on the part where she said, "We should be thankful for what the animals sacrifice for us." We don't need the animal products, and they have no consent at all. So why use them?

If I would've watched it myself, I probably would've been as angry as you are. I still think veg*nism is the best choice, even after reading the stuff I did.

SHE SAID THAT?? "we should be happy for what animals sacrifice for us".

what a ******** ignorant biiiitchhh. my mouth dropped when i read that!

Animals do not CHOOSE to be held captive in dirty, cramped, dark, places.
They do not choose to be tortured with electric rods and beaten with sticks, crushed by being stomped on, and screamed at.
Animals do not choose to be chopped up into pieces while STILL CONCIOUS!!

Ohh, she is getting hate mail from me!!
