If I have a zit on my tattoo, will anything happen if I pop/scratch it?
Or should I just leave it alone?

Haha, i KIND of had the same problem. But i have eczema, which are little bumps that go away and come back sometimes.
Dont pop it, just put some cream on it and keep it medicated.
You know, you're not supposed to pop zits anyway..Tattoo or no tattoo XD

Someone else-not me On the other hand, what if the zit matches your tattoo? What if it's a tattoo of a face? Wouldn't a zit make it 3D art??? The ink in your tattoo is, as far as I know, right under your skin. The offending zit is on top of it. Even if you pop it, my guess is it's gonna mess with your tat's "visual" for a couple of days, until your skin cools off. smile

I had a nightmare the night before I wrote this thread, and I had popped a zit and all the ink came out of the zit XD So I thought it best to ask Thanks again

It WILL mess up the tattoo if you touch it. If you scratch any of the skin in the healing process, the colours is gunna go bye bye. When I had my back done I messed with two little spots and it caused discoloration there- lucky I had a second session to go where they could fix it for me. Another time I accidently scratched a healing tat in my sleep- that ones still discoloured.
Moral of the story- DONT TOUCH IT. xp

IF it's not healing....poping it isn't going to do much (yeah you may lose a little pigment but it won't show) but it would be better to treat it with medicine or let it go away on it's own....it always is
