There is going to be a few ways you can play.

1. Solo - You are telling a story with your character. No one else joins you, and you just battle NPC [None Playable Characters]. You Gain no Experience, no Items, and no Credits. Your just having fun alone.

2. Without GM - You are role playing with other people but none of you are getting Experience, Items, or Credits. Your just having fun. You kill off your own bad guys and even play for them.

3. With GM - You are role playing as your character but everyone you meet the GM [Me] Plays for them. If you battle people [That the Gm plays for] you get Experience, Items and Credits as the GM sees fit.

Now just so you know with 1 and 2 if you Role play good enough I may still give you items but unlike 3, where I'll always give you something[probably a day or two after the event if that.], with 1 and 2 I may not give you anything for months and then just randomly give you something or even give you anything. So keep that in mind.

If you play 1 or 2 then Damage, the 2d6 at the end of a weapon, is useless.
If you are playing 3 the Damage dice are very important. When you explain that you are going to attack someone then you have to roll a d20 do see if you beat their Ref Defence. If you do then I'll post a reply with the Enemy going 'As he was shot he could feel the blaster entering his [wherever mattering on where I want it to be.] then I'll roll your damage for you. This will save time and posts. I'll probably have to work this out in my head a bit more being I can see a bit of problems with it but I'll fix them up and explain it to you if you pick this road.

3d6 or 2d6 Stun - This means that you can switch from doing 3d6 Lethal damage or 2d6 Stun damage that is non-lethal.

Ion - Ion is a type of Damage that effects Droids mostly

Swift Action - A Swift Action is a Action you can take pure turn. It is only important if you are playing with gm.

2d6/2d6 - This means the weapon has two sides and you attack with either said. However if you are playing with gm you have to have the feat Duel Weapons or take a -10 on your second attack.

I have more but I am going to add them when I think of them.
