Ok, so being in Japan I've missed out on a lot in the media area. I have to rely on youtube to get Stargate Atlantis and House, which are the only two shows I ever watched with any regularity.
I heard NOTHING about The Mummy 3. I didn't even know it was being made. I justhappened to stumble across it on surfthechannel.com today.
So let's talk about movies and TV junk. Please note any spoilers before you go into them.
I didn't much care for the thrid mummy movie. I mean, the legend was much more well know, but they kind of twisted it. The story seemed a bit more outlandish than the others, I mean its suppoe to be supernatural, but come now, there is a point of diminishing returns. Andyway, it just seemed a little thrown together to me. And is it the same woman who plays the wife? I couldn't shake the feeling that it was someone new, but I can' for the life of me remember who it was, and I'm too lazy to google it. Thoughts on this or other movies.

I didn't see either, because Batman is over rated now. And I'm too cheap to go to the movies on any day but cheap movie day (Tuesday) and since the hubby works on Tuesdays, I just don't go at all.
Personally, I just stick to TV. But then, I even slack at that. I got so far behind on the anime I watch that I gave up and resorted to using torrents.
I'm great at watching prime time, now, though! I enjoy watching Heroes and Fringe with my hubby. It's our 2 hour viewing time (one hour on Monday, one on Tuesday).
I also watch girly things like Dancing with the Stars, 90210, and Privileged. I hope Cloris Leachman gets voted off this week!!!

yeah, I saw the third mummy and though too, it was rather thrown together o.O though the yetis were cute 4laugh and I'm in that minority that thought The Dark Knight was overrated...didn't enjoy it 3nodding Ledger did do a great job, but not was great as everyone says.......I still like the burton films better.....not to mention Hamill makes a great joker though I did see it at the Drafthouse, and this group of women kept ordering things and it distracted me greatly... on a side note, lego batman is fun

I always wanted to watch Heroes, but seems like you'd have to see EVERY episode to keep up.
I wasn't going to mention the yetis. That was my favorite part and I didn't want to ruin itn. Althought, the movie did make me want to go visit China. I lieanred the Japanese word for yeti today. We wanted to know the word for snowman, but guessed wrong and the teacher kind of laughed. Its cool though cuz she's a great teacher.
I finally saw Dark Knight. I liked Ledger, but I hate clowns so he kind of freaked me out. That's why I won't watch most Batman Movies.
LEGO BATMAN!?!?!? I want it.

Yeah, you would need to see every epi of Heroes to really keep up. But season one was only 20-some-odd episodes and season 2 was 12-13 because of the writer's strike last season.
I'll be getting both box sets as a Christmas gift from the hubby.

In both movies, they all die. Everyone, even the good guys. The end.

I've seen several Japanese films where that really happens. Japanese horrors are so unpredictable compared to American horrors. I both like and dislike that.

Japanese horror? I like that I can't just guess who'll make it out alive. But it also kind sucks, cuz sometimes the movie just sort of ends cuz there's no one left to kill off.
