Once your request has been accepted you'll be assigned a grade (freshman/sophomore/junior/senior) and given a dorm. You can do anything you like in your dorm but it's mainly for you to keep track of your RPC and their classes and merits.
Merits are what I give you for posting in classes and the main forum, as well as doing other things. Merits get you real (Gaia) prizes!
Eg. 100 posts = 20 merits = item worth 200g
Remember that's just a guide though...
Each grade has different priveleges, including: the amount of merits they get, what they can do around school (prefects, etc.), and whether they can go to Coldice.
Freshman: Basic stuff, about 10 posts for 1 merit.
Sophomore: Same merit value, can go to Larkford
Junior: 5 posts for 1 merit, Larkford, can go to Coldice with Ms. Terry's approval and supervision.
Senior: As above but can go to Coldice whenever, can also become crew.

Rules:
Keep it PG-13 please. Kissing and cuddling is ok. Mild language is ok, to get a point across. Nothing else though.
This is a semi-lit roleplay (or it tries to be, at least). If your punctuation, spelling, or grammar isn't up to scratch, you will have your post deleted or edited. If it's consistently awful, you'll be kicked out.
Thoughtspeak/mindspeak is in bold and italic. Thinking is just italic. Speaking" is always in speech marks.
I do not accept demons, vampires or anything that isn't human! This is a school for kids who have super powers. If you have the powers that a vampire/demon/etc has, you got them some other way, ok?
PM me the entry form if you want to join and I'll post your profile in the next post.
Teachers and staff RPCs must stay in their assigned forums unless it will improve the plot. They must not become a main character!
Stay with us! If you want to quit due to school or work or whatever, that's fine, but please post your character dying or leaving or something!

Posting Guide:
We use weekly threads to post, so if you post something on Sunday, the reply'll probably be in the thread for the next week. rolleyes
It saves confusion most of the time.
We now use a thread for each semester/term, so you'll be given a warning before they finish.
If your RPC can mindspeak (telepathy/thoughtspeak), use the following formatting:
Bold Italic for Speaking to another person's mind.
Italic for Normal thoughts.

The School
Various places around the school where you can post.
Larkford
The village near Hero High, mainly comprised of ex-students. Only Sophomores or above can come here.
The Common Room
Post whatever you want; if you want to sell something, or just chat OOC, come here.
Dormitories
Your room is in here. Rooms contain all your HH info, but you can also invite people up if your conversation in the main forum is getting a bit ... eek or whee
Coldice City
This is where the older kids go to be superheroes. Until you're told otherwise, stay out.
Mashups, Art, Banners, and Comics
The HH comic is in here, and you can also post any artwork or banners you've made (guild-related or not).

On 29/02/08, HH Staff Ms. Terry steppped up to the podium in the assembly hall. She looked tired and confused.
"Students of Parker High, I wish to inform you of St. Servatus' High School, our sister school. Unfortunately it is now under new management; the Organisation." She paused, looking tense.
"No doubt some of you will have of heard of this 'group'. They are doing something similar to this school - taking in gifted young people - although their motives are slightly more... villainous."
She took a sip of water and continued.
"As St. Servatus' is still officially our sister school, they have suggested contests between the two schools. I have approved, for the sake of the school, but I strongly advise you to stay away from them at all other times, even though the students are, for the most part, harmless.
"As for those of you who have experience with the Organisation, you will find nothing of interest there, except an extremely advanced security system. That is all." She started to walk offstage then stopped and went back to the podium.
"You may expect the first contest quite soon. So be ready."
She walked off.

You must make sure that people follow the rules.
Do not abuse your power or I'll take it away!
Check what you're doing before you post, eg. check you haven't clicked 'edit' instead of 'quote'.
Check the join requests occasionally please, and promote the guild if you can. [eg, slow day in fishing, give people the link.]
If you accept a join request and it has an entry form in it, please create a room for them, or PM me the form.
