You awake after a long sleep and step outside into unnatural light, glass and steel buildings, flying machines and horseless carriges. After some stumbling along you see a date; 20** AD?! You've slept for a thousand years! how could that be! The instructions you gave at your retirement announcment clearly stated no more than 200 years. Not only have you overslept but the world is drasticly differnt from the one you left behind. Gathering your resolve, a vow is made, to returnd the earth to what it was beofre your long sleep as well as learn what you missed in the last millennia.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
you play an immortal, whether it be angel, deamon, some earthly god, an enchanted human or someother nameless being. Someone that does not age and has lived at least 1000 years in addition to the time spent asleep.
PM me this form filled out with your character.
Name:
Purpose:
Name- character name.
God name- if your character was worshipped as a god in the lost age list the name it went by here.
Race- anything your imagination can conjure so long as it fits the criteria; has to be immortal. does not have to be from this dimention or even know what "earth" is at all. They simply have to have slept 1000 years.
Age- upwards of 1000 not counting the long sleep. We are looking for ageless, and anchient characters.
Appearance- very descriptive. if the char has more than one form describe every form (unless it's a basic shapeshifter and can therefor take ANY form)
Abilities- i will give you three abilities of any sort. abilities that are implied and therefore unnecessary to list are; not aging, fast healing, regeneration through sleep, take human form (especialy if you're trying to fit in), and magic although you should specify WHAT magic you use (doesn't count as a seperate ability).
Weaknesses- make them realistic and debilitating. Though i don't expect anyone to die, i do want them to be able to be killed.
Bio- a summary of your life beofre the long sleep, including what country you lived in.
Purpose- what you plan to do now that you have awoken. Recreate the world in your image? Make friends? Fit in and learn all you can? Build an army and take over? what?
rules and tips
--> All the characters know eachother. For as long as they have lived, it would be foolishness to not know of other immortals. It may not be a personal knowledge like close friends. They may just know of eachothers name from a book they read once or a story legend.
--> we are playing on real Earth with real history. If you do not know your history then you are in the wrong RPT. (unless your char was not earth born)
--> this is a serious RPT meaning no OOC comments and posts with at least three paragraphs with two sentances each.
--> PM me with any questions about setting, char creation etc.
characters:
Played by MichaForrest:
Name: Michaela
God Name: Serqet
Race: Neteru
Age: more than 10,000 years
Apperance: human form; a dark skinned, green-eyed egyptian woman. Lean and busty, 5'8". God form; like human form but with painted eyes, gold jewelry, a scorpion crown, and red dress decorated with green and black lotuses. animal form; a giant scorpion, or a swarm of insects, usually scarabs.
Abilities: uses chaos magic and egyptian Heqa
1) control of sand, can turn any inanimate object to sand and vice versa.
2) control of insects and arachnids.
3) seduction; can entice almost any male and many females to do her bidding through a scent and a "sexy dance".
Weaknesses: water, slows her down and makes her weak. she can't swim, but can walk over water if she has to cross it. Order, anything neat and tidy in an orderly fasion without defects she is powerless against. Fortunetly, almost everything has defects, though order makes it harder for her to concentrate. Drinking water from the Nile river can kill her if properly blessed by Horus/Ra (like holy water).
Bio: was Queen of the Desert in anchient egypt until people stopped believing in her. So she went to sleep under the advise of Lord Seth, god of Chaos around the time that Islam invaded egypt.
Purpose: Seeks to restore Seth's empire and bring back the Age of Chaos.
played by XakAiron:
Name: Giretyre
God name: Lord Montaguia the Wise but Small
Race: Giretyre WAS a Satyr from the Jurassic Period, but was transformed by a Raptor Shaman into a Rabbit.
Age: Born in the Jurassic Period
Appearance: Giretyre is a little teal colored Rabbit. His ears are long and floppy and he wears a little fur cloak on his back and a tiny, crumpled, worn, black magician's hat atop his head.
Abilities: Druidic Nature Magic, Pre-Christian Wiccan Magic, Voodo, Shamanic Magics and Ceremonies and Dinosaur Magics
Weaknesses: Giretyre can be killed by simply cutting off his foot, a weakness imposed on him by the Raptor Shaman.
Bio: Giretyre told about his history... "Well, where to begin.. I was born from the Goddess Nymph and the God Centaur many many years ago. I became the patron god of the Bachiosaurus Tribe in the Prehistoric Ages. It is well known that the Raptor Clan was always looking for some way to get more Brachiosaurus meat, so they called upon their highest Shaman, Tiburious (Who I actually liked, he was a good fellow, just fiercly loyal to his people) to transform me into a Rabbit. I lived quite a while and still protected the Brachiosauruses until the Clockwork Creator decided the Dinosaur Clans needed to be vaporized because of their corruption. Lets see now... I believe the next major thing I did was fight against the Trojans during that silly war. Yes, they called me Achilles I believe. One of the bastards cut off my left foot, I passed out thinking it was my right foot (My one weak point). They thought I was dead. They buried me until I woke up here. Tis rather wierd if I say so myself."
Purpose: Giretyre was always upbeat and adventurous and will probably just bounce from adventure to adventure.
played by Almandaragal
Name: Original name unknown, but called throughout time as Dai'shan, Moridin, Gaidin, A'vron, Aiel, Aan'allein, M'Hael, Mandarb, Mordero, Nor, Sam (Not a normal name, means destroyer), and Sovin Nei. All are in the "Old Tongue", his native language, and one forgotten long ago, but all have to do with Battle, Weapons, Honor, Dedication, or Death. He now just calls himself Aan'allein.
God Name: None.
Race: Demi-Warrior (Basically a human, but with powers to rival that of gods.)
Age: 5,486 years old, counting the sleep.
Apperance: Aan'allein stands a meager 5'0", and normally is hidden by a death black cloak. Underneath, or when he takes it off, you can see his very well built frame, leaving him at around 180 lbs of solid muscle. His brown hair is a bit long, coming down over his eyes, but that doesn't seem to hinder him. His eyes would be more likely to capture your attention anyway, as they are always going through the colors of the rainbow, fading from one color to the next within a second or two. Of course, depending on his mood, he can have a certain color stay, but for the most part, they are a place of constant change. His normal attire is all black, his long sleeve shirt having no decorations, just filled out with his form. Around his neck is a small disk about an inch in diameter, half white an half black. It is very similar to the yin and yang symbol, only lacking the dots of the opposite color in each half to be identical. His belt, seemingly woven leather with a simple steel buckle holds up some very baggy black pants with numerous pockets. The pants at first glance are plain as well, but a closer examination shows a design barely raised in black on each leg on the outside. It seems human, but somehow isn't. A perfectly still cape is attached to his also black mail, and his sword is black as well. And for some reason, he seems to have no eyes. Then, just barely visible beneath the huge pants are his boots, also death black, metal inforced inside all around.
Abilities: He naturally can focus on a flame in his mind, removing himself from himself, as in he feels his pain, but it is as if it is someone else's pain, and he becomes all but emotionless. That and he can reach into a small storage void to obtain any of his weapons collected and created over the millenia.
1) Teleportation
2) Flight
3) Expellation of his energy in various forms.
Weaknesses: He has a very strict code of honor, often making it so he will not strike opponents when they are down, or come into the battle already somehow disabled. He will go out of the way to help a lady, and has never like liked politics. Thus he never looked into them, and doesn't get the complex flow of the "Nobles" at times.
Bio: He was born in 3481 B.C. and lived normally, or so he thought, until his mid 30's, where he realized that he really hadn't aged a bit since his 25th birthday. It couldn't have just been because of his excellent physical condition, for he had powers as well, though he had never shown them to anyone left alive. He was a peaceful person, but well suited to battle. He had always seemed to dress odd to those around him, though in today's society, his clothes would not be commented on much. As time passed, various conquests arose, and he found himself at the happening of them, training warriors, and usually fighting as well. History records none of his actions though, as those he trained were told never to speak of him, and didn't for fear he would find them out. And those that fought against him never lived to breath a word of his presence again. If one looks carefully, they could find signs that point to him, such as battles that should have been lost won miraculously, though the credit lies elsewhere, or is untold of. He continued his fighting lifestlye through the Dark Ages, and even a bit into the Medieval times, but got too sick of the dishonor that the so called "Knights" were bringing to their name, and went into a slumber, hoping to awaken a few centuries later to find a different system where he could imprint honor without trying to kill the entire military force. But he awoke far too late, and finds himself in a world full of something called Technology, and even more lacking in honor than when he left.
Purpose: He fights "Carai Dai", or for the Honor of Battle, and wants to restore honor to battles, and reduce battles themselves, as they solve little without the honor they have lost.
played by Righer
Name:Kiden
Race:Afrit
Age:5.023
Apperance:When in human form she is a 5'5'' female with blond hair and green eyes. Normally she wears a rd silk dress. Her skin is as white as an albino's. When she is in her afrit form she looks like a chimera made of a panther body, snakie tail and falcon head.
Abilities:1)To changethe shape of anything
2)To Shape Shift Herslef
3)To travel Through Most Dimenions
Weaknesses: Silver and rosemarry both burn her escents. Other Afrits and Merids have the ability to overpower her.
Bio:Kiden was an Afrit who tried to take over her world and others. For her crimes she was striped of nearly all her powers and banished by the current ruler of Slyverant. Then she was sent to Earth. She knew that the only way she could return home was to sleep so she could regain her powers. So she slept. When she awakened she had lost all memory of her past.
Sylverant was a world that was created over 200 billion years ago. Life began 180 billion years ago. The original life-forms were all the same, very much human like and pretty weak. The 100 billion years later more powerful and inteligent being began to live. About 50 billion years later even more powerful and inteligent creaturs inhabited Slyverant. Finally another 50 billion years later, all life broke into 5 groups. Starting from the weakest Imps, Foliots, Djinn, Afrits and Marids. None of which looked anything like humans. All of them were inable to age and didn't reproduce in order to pervent over population. These is when most civilization began.
About 1 billion years ago civilation on Sylverant began. At first the 5 groups stuck to thier own kind. 500 million years later all of the races begin to live in the same place. Only 100 million years the Djinn, Afrits and Merids enslave the Imps and Foliots. 200 million years later a Foliot starts an army of Foliots and Imps and attemps to overthrow all other races. He looses this war. 200 million years later a war is started to outlaw slavery. This is won and all Imps and Foliots are sent free. About 90,000 years later most nations adopt democracy. Then about 5,000 years later al nations become 1. They are ruled by a Marid. Finally 4,000 years later Kiden attempts to rule all of Sylverant, but fails.
Purpose: To remeber her past, kill the one who banished her and return home legally. (in that order)
Serquet awoke in her tomb, yawning and streching. it had been a good nap and now her master had come to wake her up. She looked around the familiar walls of her home, the paintings on the walls of chaos and destruction, the golden artifacts her servents made to appease her, the lovely clothes and mummified crocodiles for the same purpose and the little scorpion nest she had cultivated for generations.
something made her pause as she leaned out of the sarcophogus. the thing that caught her eye more than the fact that Seth wasn't there. the nest was empty. the lovely arachnids that she had tended for so long, bred to her tastes and fed with her hands... gone. all of them. either dead or lost to the world. great sorrow filled her and poured out into an inhuman cry, eerie and frightening to any who could hear it. the echos of the cry reached to the once capital thebes and a few other towns along the river. noone there could even imagine the sourse of the sound.
tears poured down her face turning to steam as it touched the stone coffin. "oh horrible fate. Seth, why couldn't you protect them?" the silence pressed, harder than the lid of her sleeping chamber. "Lord Seth?" she asked again and looked up and around her tomb again. it was empty. emptyer than it had ever been before in her lifetime, in her reign. in all known existance it had never been this empty.
she shudderd, suddenly afraid as she hadn't been since Seth almost died during the battle with Heru, lord of the day and heir to the throne of pharoh. her world was collapsing, had collapsed. it was over, truly over. noone believed in her anymore.
that sudden realizaetion brought anger that ignited the fear within her and caused her to motivate. "they WILL belive in me again. and this time there will be no Heru to end it for us, will there Lord Seth." she still spoke to him even without him present. it comforted her and for all she knew he WAS listening, somewhere.
she climbed out of her coffin and shoved the lid back into place then put on her favorite dress and gold trinkets. finally, she turned towards the exit/entrance to this chamber and opend the door. sand poured in and would not stop. it kept coming as though the entire desert was trying to come inside. still aflame with anger she turned it to the sand gathering it up and pushing it back out hard enough to make a path to the surface. there was a giant spray of sand and a sandstorm would reach Cairo later that day.
she walked out then turned around to see what was left of her tomb. it was coverd. not just coverd but buried, in sand. the desert had come and hidden her existance from the mortals. in another burst of ferocious anger she swept the sand off her glorious temple. then the pyramid stood, empty and alone amidst the dunes, scarab statues flanking either side of the walkway, unused in millennia.
she collapsed in the sand and cryed.
"Aye? Aaaaye?!" The little rabbit called out into the dirt and sediment. His black eyes searched about him slowly, then came the sudden realization that he had been buried. Paddling his little paws against the dirt he began digging and within an hour or so the dirt opened into the air above.
"Ah! To behold the light again! I wonder if I am in time to meet Ceaser for that lunch we had sched-" He stopped mid sentance and his rabbit mouth gaped as he stared blankly ahead.
He had been lucky enough to dig right into the middle of the Rome, he was greeted by the sight of St. Peter's Basilica. He just stared wide eyed at its grand architecture. Coming to the sudden realization that he had been awoken a few to many years in the future, Giretyre fell over backwards. He lay stunned for a minute before standing again and hopping up to one of the humans walking by.
"Excuse me kind sir, but-" He was cut off again as the woman screamed and ran the opposite direction of the rabbit. "Hmmm, mabey I have bad breath"
He bounced up to another man, nearly being run over by one of the metal behemoths he could not identafy as he approached the man. "Um, yes, excuse me." The man looked around to see who was talking to him before the rabbit tapped his foot. "Yes, my name is Giretyre, may I ask you a question?"
"..." The man stared at the little fuzzy ball of white fluff before his mouth opened slowly. No words came out so he just nodded.
"Yes, hmm, may I be so honored as to know what year it currently is?" The rabbit looked up, his black eyes sparkling in the light.
"Oh... well... its 2005... but..." The man turned pale, "Your a rabbit..."
"2005?!" His voice echoed throughout the city, so powerful that the man fell over and a few birds almost fell out of the sky above. "Hmm, my appologies about that. You see, I must have overslept, well, it wasn't exactly sleep. If those Trojans hadn't taken off my foot I wouldn't have waken so late." He noticed while he talked that he had regrown his lost foot. "May I accompany you throughtout your day to mabey learn more of this odd era?"
"Uh... sure. My name is Mac. I am going to work, so I guess you can just follow me or something." He started walking down the road, making sure the rabbit was close behind.
It was nightfall by the time Serquet got her act together. Yes, much time has passed to bury the pyramid so thoroughy, but now that it was clear mortals should once again come to recognize its beauty and fear it. First, to return to the Nile and see how strong Heru and Ra still grip the land.
for half the distance she rode a sand tornado but then something amazing and startling caught her eye. it was in the sky and it wasn't a fellow neteru, or a sun barge, or a bird, or anything she recognized. She took beetle form and flew up to its height with the aid of heqa since normally beetles cannot fly so high. it moved very quickly through the heavens, and as she gripped the outer hull it seemed to be made of metal. it was shaped like a falcon without a beak and had a tail like a fish, swinging this way and that. she cawled close to the body of the great metal bird and glimpsed mortals through what must be windows, made of layers of glass. she had never before seen glass windows. a giant metal bird that can transport many people at once.
her calcualting mind at once thought of the implications. now it was possible for people to leave the country and perhaps never be found again. but it could also be used to bring people into the country as well. she took her normal form again and jumped off the wing, barely noticing that a young child had seen her do it and was telling his mother.
Serquet then sped the rest of the way to the once capital Thebes and sat on a pyramid to watch the city go along it's nightly tasks.
one thing she noticed was a severe lack of slaves. Even the invading Muslims had had slaves. Something drastic has happend in the years she was asleep. also, amid the normal a** and cart were carriges without animal propulsion. this cut down on feeding animals. very efficient. the asses could roam wild now as they had in the years before domestication. but despite this lack of animal power there also seemed to be a lack of wild animals. the crocodiles and hippos were still wild of course, noone could tame those ferocious animals but Seth. and snakes slitherd in and out of houses as they always had. but the vulture was nearly gone from the city and so were the other dangers. they simply were not present.
"so pharoh has finally conqured nature as he wanted." she said to herself. but then noticed that the pharohs palace was nowhere to be seen. "is he dead? Is heru finally gone from the land?" this news was too wonderful to keep to herself. "Heru-kherti is gone from the land!!!!!" she shouted into the night. "Now let Seth rule!"
several lights went on inside houses and buildings. not torchlight, or lamp light. the same unnatural light that lined the streets in this place. people showed their faces wondering who could have made that sound. but they could not see her on the tomb in this darkness from thi distance. she laughed to herself. "let them wonder. we will have this world back right where we want it my Lord of Chaos."
Aan'allein awoke, but he was definetly not comfortable. His stasis form of sleep had started in a mountain in the northwest of North America. But as time had went on, rain had come, dislodging mud in great slides, and he was now buried in dirt, a good 30 feet below the surface. He wasn't quite sure which way was up, but on a small surge of his power, he found the least resistance and surged more in that direction, creating a fountain of dirt as he leaped out of the temporary grave.
He surveyed his surroundings, and his cloak. Good thing it was still fine, being specially made. He brushed off the dirt and flew down the mountain. What he found when he came to the edges of that first small town shocked him. People were not using horses, and the paths that led to and from it were... Like rock. Big things of metal, with odd black tires were rolling around with people in them. What were these new kinds of carriages? People looked at him oddly, swathed in a cloak like that, but no one really said anything. There were all kinds of weird people nowadays, and he was just one more as far as they were concerned. He entered the little store and looked around at all of the flashy colors, and odd materials things were in. And it was cool in here, what kind of magic was this?
He walked around for quite some time, and finally came up to the counter where the few others had traded for the goods. The person stood behind a box made of metal that made odd noises as they passed his food over some odd looking glass. They then asked for 44 dollars and 26 cents.
"Dollars?" he asked. "Will this work?" And pulled two gold marks, both probably worth 7 or more times his purchase each and puts them on the counter. The person behind the counter quickly says that yes, that would be fine and bags his things for him. As he leaves the town, going back toward the mountain to cook his meat, he wonders why the person had seemed so shocked. He also sensed two other "superpowers", somwhere off in the world. Tomorrow he would get started on seeing what the warriors of this age were like.
the rest of the night had been spent searching every tomb and temple that she knew about, making certain that she was the only neteru awake and present. then serquet determined that it was time to be about business.
she wanted one of those marvelous machines. she had no doubt she could operate one, for though the technology was somthing only thoth could understand, it was relativly simple to operate. she had watched very carefully to amke certain she hadn't missed anything.
serqet took mortal form and walked to an entire lot of these wonderful metal carriges, picking out her favorite; Mercades, it said on the side. it was red as blood, small and looked fast. A salesman saw her admiring it.
"she's a beauty, isn't she?"
"i am rather beautiful. thank you for..." she saw his face was twisted in confusion and a touch of humor as though he was about to get the joke but didn't want to offend. "oh, you mean this." and she ran her hand along the convertable.
the man just grinned.
"what would it take to aquire this beauty?" she asked.
"about 2000 dollars down and then we put together a payment plan for you." he grinned again. at least sales people hadn't changed in the long years she had been asleep.
"If it's money you desire then will this be enough?" she held out cupped hands and gold coin practicly flowed from them.
the man stared. "how about this. you take the car as my gift to you and we never talk about this again." he winked, filling his pockets with the gold. she winked back and he handed her the key.
she drove off with very little trouble, a few cars now had dents and scratches though. as she drove down the highway, going a smooth 90 MPH she laughed in the wind as she thought about the sales man who was now counting his sand.
the thought made her think about aquiring other things here. she would have to get ahold of that paper and copper people considerd money now. but where?
in the city had been a building called a bank. in the windows were adverizments for depositing money in the bank. if it was a storage place then she knew where to get her paper and copper now.
she turned around, preparing to go back to thebes when the car stopped. it would no longer run. serqet screamed furiously.
Kiden woke from her long sleep, her head throbbing. Her eyes were blurry, but they quickly focused. She attempted to walk, but fell. Apparently she wasn't used to being here. The first thought that ran through her mind was "Where am I?" Then in a panic she asked herself "Who am I?" She sat there not knowing her past.
She was finally able to calm herself down. Kiden knew that she had to remember. The question that kept appearing in her mind was "how?" Then it hit her. She could just ask someone. After all, how long could she have slept? She searched to see if she could find anyone.The only thing that was there was the darkness of night.
Kiden was knew that, in order to find someone, she would need to walk. In order to walk she would need to stand. However, currently, she was unable to do either beause of her weak legs. She looked for the nearst tree. As soon as she found it she started to crawl little by little. Finally she had reached it. The first thing she did was pull herself up the tree,. Then she leaned on it to strengthen her legs. When she felt she was strong enough to walk she broke off the longest branch.
Kiden began to walk. She fell many times, but thanks to her new cane, she would get up. Many hours later she was able to walk without falling. After a few more hours she was able to walk without her stick alltogether. After a while she walked as if nothing happened at all. However by the time she had perfected her walking the Sun had already greeted her. During her travels she had not yet come across a village or town.
Aan'allein stretched, making much popping ensue from his small body as he got up. He was still on the mountain where he had awoken in the ground the day before. The meat had been delicious, and very easy to make since it had been pre-cut. He still wondered what had been used to cut through the bone so smoothly. Few he knew in his time would ever have used their battle weapon for such a purpose.
All that was on his mind as he made some breakfast out of some more meat called bacon along with a few eggs. Eating off of a rock, even one scoured clean by some energy wasn't his idea of all that good, but it served the purpose as many a rock had on his previous pilgrimages. But today he had a mission of sorts. He needed to find out about this Age.
Thus Aan'allein found himself on the path to that town again, his sword buckled at his hip. Come to think of it, no one had been wearing a sword in the town. Maybe there was a peace bond? If there was, he would just put his sword away, but there should have been at least one person wearing one, bound or not. Pondering away, he came into sight of the town.
the vehicle would not run. no matter how she beat it and pressed buttons and pulled levers and prayed to ptah it would not run. finally she sat and thought. there must be somoen in town that can fix this machine for me so gathering herself up into another dust tornado she sped into town, searched for a mechanic gathered him up as well and sped the surprised man back to her mercades.
after some questions the man figured out that she wanted the car fixed and set to work while she waited patiently. "well, here's your problem." he said "it's out of gas."
"out of what?" serquet blinked.
"out of gas, gasoline, fuel, it needs the fuel to run."
she ponderd that "so it really isn't more effecient than an a**, it still rquires fuel. but it does go very fast." she grinned. "very well then, where can i get this gas?"
"at a gas station." he replied, wondering if this woman was alright in the head.
"show me." and she swept him up in another dust tornado and he showed the goddess the station. she set him down and he filled up a red container with the liquid. come to think of it she had seen the vehicles come into these places every so often and use the nozzle in the side of the car but she had never understood the ritual until now.
"ok, all set." the man said.
so she picked him back up and they arrived back at the car. he showed her how to fill the tank and when she turned the key he showed her the gas guage. "i see, thank you very much sir." and with that they sped back to town at 90 mph.
Kiden began to walk further and further, not finding one person she could talk to find out about her forgotten past. She looked behind her hoping that by some miracle somebody was there, but it was futile. The only thing she saw was her footprints in the snow. She searched for another tree, maybe she could climb it to find civilization.
Once she found the tallest tree she could find she began to climb it. She reached the top still she didn't find any hint of a city, town or even a small villa. "Where the Hell am I!?" she was really starting to get annoyed. She sighed "I had better keep moving, the more I move the sooner I'll find somebody." And she continued to walk.
After awhile she was really starting to get cold. "I need to get somewhere warm soon, my body wasn't built for this! I having trouble breathing and I'm getting tired! I'm going to have to sleep...again! Me and my need to sleep are what got me into this." She speed up her pace, she started to0 get alittle careless. She ran into a tree. When she got up she saw a wall of rock. "Oh great just what I need another obstacle in my way!...It hopeless, I'm never going to find somebody to help me." The second she said that somebody came.
Once in town she dropped the mechanic off at the place she found him then drove off. serquet was angry at the delay but understoond the need to learn more about this strange place that was her present. she was careful to observe how the other cars moved, stopping at red signs and red lights... what a strange ritual she thought to herself. go, stop, go, stop, refil the tank... humans are insane! finaly she came back to the bank and drove around. she saw a place where many of the vehicles were parked and went there. she ignored the lines however and drove up to the building. she wouldn't be here long.
Serquet enterd the building. it was hot and musty but cleaner inside. farmers brought goats and grain for collateral as they took out loans and others in tight and obsiously expensive dress exchanged slips of paper for other slips of paper. besides the paper exchange it was much as she rememberd. now to find the vault. after some slinking around and being invisible, she found it. it was a huge metal door. no way she could get in with her original plan. feeling she edge she found that it was so tight there was not room for a grain of sand or even a breath of air.
serquet desided to investigate more.
in one room was a sleeping guard and a row of monitors. with some effort she realized that the images were places around the bank that they were watching secretly. one of them showed stacks of the paper bills of money. "nebennen..." she whisperd to herself grinning.
